Are you Benching Gore in week 3 vs MIN? (1 Viewer)

Very tough matchup.

Never bench your studs?

Shark move?

I'm thinking an RB3 with a better matchup might be more appealing. I see a more balanced Gore/Coffee mix with Singletary throwing different personel at them to keep them guessing. Possibly lower touches + MIN rush D = low expectations. How many 70+ runs can he break off?

Are you keeping him in or sitting him down?

Who are you starting him over?

Who are you benching him for?

I am considering Bush @ Buffalo over Gore in PPR. Arizona shut down the SF run game. Singletary made some adjustments and it paid off vs a Seattle team that reigned in SJax pretty well, but I don't know if any amount of adjustments can ovecome 8 in the box from MIN. They certainly aren't scared of Shaun Hill.

Jamal Lewis ran OK against the vikings and Kevin Smith also ran well. I am not sure if they are as good against the run as last year and the year before. Pat Williams is coming off the field a lot more and does look a little old. Jared Allen is not really known for being a great run stopping end even though he is quite adequate. EJ hasn't looked like he has his feet quite under him yet. I wouldn't expect a monster day but 100 combined yards and a score is not out of the question at all.

Starting Gore and hoping for a combined total of about 400 rush yards between the two teams as I've got Gore and AD going! :lmao:

Remember, Gore catches the ball almost as well as anyone in the league. He won't rush for a ton of yards, but he could have a nice combined total.

Need to decide between Gore vs. MIN and Portis vs. DET.

Pretty tough to bench anyone against the Lions, but Portis hasn't exactly been killing it thus far.

I thought it would be a good idea to bench Gore last week, and start McFadden against Kansas City instead. I figured Gore's week one success was a result of his TDs, but his actual rushing performance with SF's offensive line scared me. I lost about 25 points in the process.

Please do this again so the rest of us can benefit from the wrath of the fantasy gods on you! Starting him. Don't bench your studs!

Minnesota's rush D has taken a step back this year, IMO. They average 109 rushing yards allowed to two of the less impressive rushing attacks in the NFL through two weeks (Cleveland and Detroit) - given Gore's MONSTER game last week I don't see how you could sit him. Just keep an eye on the sore ankle - if that flares up later in the week then you might have to make a call but right now if I had him he'd be in there. My

There's only one matchup that scares me enough to consider benching Gore, and that's San Francisco vs. BYE. And even then, it's a tossup.

I dont see how anyone could after last weeks performance, im starting him with no hesitation. Granted its the Vikings but he is the offense. Im sure alot of owners benched him after his week 1 performance and learnt the lesson that so many people preach of NEVER BENCH YOUR STUDS.

Are you freaken kididng me  The guy comes off a 200+ yard game, was undoubtedly your first or second round pick and now, heading into WEEK 3 you've pulled out your crystal ball and it says to sit Frank Gore  :lmao:

Come on now...let's not overthink this and plug him in withe the blinders on. Kevin Smith gashed and dashed thru that vaunted Minny run DEF last week...just didn't break one or he easily could've had 100+ and a score.
