Actually, if you are under contract to a "D" league team you can stay with that team thru your current contract even if you go over 7. If you are talking about signing a new contract, then 7 max is correct. In other words you don't get kicked out of the "D" league until your contract expires AND you are above 7.

phew ... my HB is level 7 with 950 exp ... i think i'll let him not train in case he doesn't find a human team to join this off season

Just sign him to a CPU team right now... you can still sign a contract w/ a human team while under contract w/ a CPU team.

Speaking of ... I've got a level 7 HB focusing solely on speed/agility right now looking for a team to further develop him. Let me know if interested!

You could sign a contract w/ a human team that expired day 40 this season. Then, don't train at all. Then sign w/ a CPU team again at the start of the new season.

As you know, the Footballguys play in the USA AAA2 conference championships tomorrow.The Long Island Iced Tea play in the USA AAA1 conference championships at noon, today. We play the Gridiron Rage and I don't feel real comfortable about it. AAA1 is much weaker than AAA2 but the Gridiron Rage could easily compete in AAA2.

The Grinnell Pioneers are still cruising through the playoffs. We're up against the #3 seed in the conference title game. We beat them in the regular season in a defensive struggle 9-7. If we win, we go to Oceania Pro, if we lose, we're stuck in AAA#2 another year (and we lose our win streak, currently at 38 games).

 
The Texas FBG Wine Bats are still alive. We meed the top seed later this afternoon. We finished 15-1 with the only loss to today's opponent. They out-level us pretty bad, but we're hoping we can gameplan a victory.

We're not an all FBG team, despite our numerous invitations, but probably 50%.

 
I have two guys still available for teams that need them for their championship run. They are available now and I need to get them on a team so I can stop getting 30 PMs a day about them.

Sabretooth X - DE lvl 23

PM me on GLB and be sure to be FBG in the subject. They are looking for contracts that expire on day 40 and will take the minimum.

Level 23 G Aard de Gaard (USA AA starter)

Level 19 LB Notorious Jones (Eastern Europe AA starter)

Level 14 QB Ambitious Jones (D League starter)

I had three other players (on the Texas FBG Wine Bats) eliminated in today's loss.

We played them tough. I pm'ed the Kai. We're going to have fun with it.
 
Just got my new team and could use some help in the form of GB's or players looking for a new squad. Looks like owner swiped about a half million dollars in bonuses for his players before setting everyone's contracts to expire at the end of the season.

I didn't expect a team so quick (that waiting list went fast) and could use a GM type who can help with Stadium and Contract matters.

I'm recruiting for a couple of teams that need some players if you have any:

Long Island Iced Tea - USA AAA#1

Made it to the conference championships this year, upsetting the 15-1 #1 seed in the process. What I'm looking for:

#4 WR - lvl 16+

#2 TE - Lvl 16+

#2 HB - prefer a power back - Lvl 16+

#2 C - Lvl 16+

Brazilian Cardinals - South America Pro

This team needs a bit more help. Luckily, I just got made head coach so I can work on fixing the defense, which is a mess. The O was mine last year so is in better shape. I think we've got some very good pieces and if I can recruit some key guys, I'm confident we'll improve the 2-3 wins we need to make the playoffs.

#1 or #2 WR - Depends on your talent level. Looking for lvl 20+. Could also use a #4 around lvl 16

#2 TE - Would be #1 in passing situations. Obviously looking for a passing build. Lvl 16+

Linebackers - I want to replace the entire linebacker crew. Be 18+ and you have a good shot to start or at least be the primary backup.

Cornerbacks - Need a #3 and #4 Lvl 16+

DT - Starter or backup depending on level. Level 16+

DE - Starter or backup once again depending on level Level 16+

Let me know if you have a guy and are interested.

DE Auspicious Jones will be available on Day One of the new season, if you're interested. All my other players are spoken for right now.
