RB Michael Bush, Cardinals (1 Viewer)

Rotoworld:

When discussing the signing of RB Michael Bush, coach Bruce Arians said, "We need a guy who's gonna pound it in there and close out games for us."
It can be taken as a sign the Cardinals are going to use Bush in goal-line and short-yardage situations. With Andre Ellington averaging over 20 touches per game and looking like he may need a breather, it's not out of the question that Bush will step into a prominent role. It's a hit to Ellington's value, but we could also argue it's a boost. Ellington is most effective when he's fresh, and less touches would make him more explosive. He's still a solid RB1/2.

Rotoworld:

Newly signed Cardinals RB Michael Bush is not expected to get carries in Sunday's Week 13 game at Atlanta.

Coach Bruce Arians tells it how it is on Bush, who has been out of the league since last season ended. "It's going to be hard to have a guy who didn't play in OTAs and didn't have a training camp, and for me to give him the ball on Sunday, that would be pretty hard," Arians said. Once Bush is up to speed, Arians confirmed that he'll be implemented into short-yardage and goal-line packages. That could come as soon as Week 14.

Cardinals waived RB Michael Bush.
Bush was just signed last week. He'll be released to create room for OLB Matt Shaughnessy's return from I.R. Stepfan Taylor will start in place of Andre Ellington against the Chiefs, with Marion Grice getting change-of-pace snaps. The Cardinals have also promoted RB Kerywnn Williams from the practice squad.
