Game Thread W4 - Cleveland V Oakland (1 Viewer)

Wow, Oakland actually managed two first downs. Thankfully they then got a penalty, ran for 4, got a blocked pass and then Cle sacked Walters while the entire Raiders O-line literally stood still. Did anyone see this play? I kept waiting for a flag, but it really was just the Raiders not realizing the ball had gone anywhere.

Good old reliable Oakland. Run it up the middle some more! I'm sure Lamont loves getting 2-3 yards in and then getting hit by 5 defenders.

 
Raiders run it back for a TD after a Droughns fumble. From what it looks like on the replay, Droughns stuck the ball straight towards the ground while fighting for yards and let go before being down.

And then CLE tries to challenge the Illegal Formation call rather than the fumble. Very good.

One target thus far. Moss fought with a defender and ultimately it was kind of lucky it wasn't intercepted.

 
i dunno whats up with NFL.com but tryin to follow any of the games on there right now is like tryin to find a corner to piss in, in a round room... impossible

 
And more penalities! wooooo

Oh and another Moss target, another inch or two and Moss would've had it. At least they're trying to use him now.

oakland has the ball on their own 9 yard line..

what a s*** show this game is already turning out to be..

 
Deep ball to Moss almost gets intercepted.

Lee Bodden is hurt, looks like his right leg (grabbing around his ankle/calf).

I thought I saw Jordan catch a dump-off pass from Walters and run it for like 8-9 yards. No idea what the heck is going on with NFL.com.Oh and another INT thrown by Walters; Sean Jones grabs it.

Yeah very weird all day. Stats and plays coming up then disappearing. ??? Strange.
 
i dunno what happened, but the browns have the ball at oaklands 33..

hey browns, run reuben.. oaklands run defense is horrible. crennel should be smart enough to realize this.

 
Shell's been playing Moss like it's a Madden videogame. Targeting him for a 40 yrd pass at least once per drive. Walter finds him on 3rd and Goal for a short yardage TD.

Almost. He's making a lot of passes that are 'close' to the recievers that almost get caught for INT's. It seems like he just loves over-throwing all of his guys just a bit. His O-line isn't doing him any favors, but he's definitely getting more time to look around and throw than Brooks did in the first 2 games. He also seems to have a clue about what 'dump off' means.He's a helluva lot better than Brooks at throwing the deep ball though.

Nfl.com is really all over the place on this one. They have the Browns with 2nd and goal at the Raiders 29.

 
Just when you thought Fargas was taking over, Jordan goes 60 yards for a TD (unless nfl.com is playing games again).

 
I guess this means Jordan is still worth something if the raidas can make some holes for him.

For Cleveland fans, this game has looked ugly except for the Kick Off returns. Whoever is doing that is the MVP of CLE this game. Nearly broke off two TD's, only stopped by a last second knock outta bounds and the 2nd time, Janikowski! making the tackle.
