From Rotoworld......

"Bengals running back Rudi Johnson (probable, back) was added to the NFL injury report on Thursday.

Cincinnati's starter missed at least a portion of practice, and a late addition to the injury report usually is a bad sign. If Johnson is a surprise scratch on Sunday, backup Chris Perry should have significant value as a one-week replacement."

Just a heads up for Rudi and Perry owners.........

Wow - seems all the news coming out of Cinci this week is that they are going to have to pass the ball alot, huh?

You do know what that means though ........... Expect a ton of running in rainy Cinci this weekend. Probably mostly by Rudi.

IIRC isn't Rudi typically listed as probable every week and usually doesn't practice on Wed.
He practiced on Wed, he missed practice on Thursday and was added to the injury report then. From CBSSportsline:News: Bengals RB Rudi Johnson (back) is listed as probable for Week 8 vs. Atlanta. He missed practice on Thursday after practicing with the team on Wednesday. Analysis: Back injuries can be problematic, especially for a running back who takes a beating on a weekly basis. There isn't much info coming out of Cincy aside from Johnson being listed as probable. If he remains on the injury report on Friday, then there should be some need for concern. Otherwise, he is a solid Fantasy start for Week 8 as the Bengals host the Falcons

So was Lamont Jordan last week.
Didn't Jordan's injury come to light a lot later in the week though?Edited to add:Jordan showed up as probable on Thurs. too.

Last year, Rudi was listed as probable for almost the entire season, yet he never missed a beat. Rudi has been one of them most durable backs in the league over the past several years. I would be shocked to see him miss a game.
