I think you are rating Kuper too high. The guy hasn't played a game yet. You need to switch Kuper and Pears in their respective rankings. FWIW, I would rather have John Welbourn over Kuper at this juncture. Although that might change if he performs as expected.

Although I think Kuper will be good, he hasn't proven it yet.

I agree on kuper. Im a broncos fan and am high on Kuper, but since he hasn't even played a game yet I dont really think he deserves to be hat high

Curious as to why you have Chris Snee atop the rankings?

Alan Faneca and Shawn Andrews were the All Pro selections last year at guard, and Chris Naeole garnered All Pro votes in several major publications. Andrews is an absolute beast, he's easily the best offensive lineman on the NFC's best line. He'll replace Runyan at RT in 2008 or 2009 and should a fixture at RT for years to come. Davin Joseph projects as a solid player, but let's see Tampa actually run the ball with some success before we anoint him.

Take a close look at Randy Thomas. I think he's been the Redskins' best o-lineman the last three seasons and is one of the more underappreciated linemen in the NFL. He's excellent at everything: run blocking, pass blocking, pulling and blocking, etc. Ignore the lack of Pro Bowls, he's legit and belongs in the top 8 or so.

Pittsburgh Steelers Kendall Simmons 9 7.5

Hell no. Simmons is so hit-and-miss it drives me nuts.

He has ability, but he doesnt seem too good at assignments.

Better run then pass (as are most Steeler linemen) and has some very nice games and some pisspoor ones that often get blamed (wrongfully) on teh center or right tackle.

At this point in time I would prefer to see an upgrade. I'd drop him down to about a 7.0 and in the middle of that pack.

I see several linemen who are worse and several who are better. Above Williams below Thomas.

Thanks guys, I'll take all those things into account in edition #2.

Padraig if you have a lock on any position on that line your a better man than I. Is this something you've seen in camp or your opinion?

Satele is the C and Hadnot the RG until one does something to lose their job.Cam Cameron said he prefers Hadnot at G and he got all the 1st team reps there in mini camps. If Satele struggles they could move Hadnot back to C,but the coaches prefer Hadnot at G.

Scroll down to Cameron Q&A

Q: Can you talk about Rex Hadnot moving to guard and who will play center?

A: “He is our right guard. We haven’t declared (starting center) because (Johnathan) Ingram is doing a nice job at center and Samson (Satele) is doing a nice job at center and guard. So we’re going to have to make that determination yet. Rex Hadnot is our right guard. Vernon (Carey) is really developing. I’m watching him, and Vernon is really coming out and practicing like a pro everyday. Rex has missed a couple of practices because of a lower back. If that light comes on there, look out, because we’ll have us a heck of a player at right guard.”

Q: Is Rex Hadnot more of a natural guard?

A: “At his size, I’d say yes. If he was going to play center he might want to shrink a little bit. But I like him. All of sudden he went from being a guy I thought may be was a little too big. Now moving to right guard and he didn’t look too big for me.”

Arizona Cardinals Deuce Lutui 13 7.2

Jacksonville Jaguars Chris Naeole 14 7.0

Chris Naeole at 14 is very suspect to begin with, but having Lutui in front of him? I'd think Chris is easily top 10 and likely top 5.

OK, so I had it this way

LT Vernon Carey

LG Chris Liwienski

C Rex Hadnot

RG Joe Toledo

RT LJ Shelton

Back-ups Samson Satele Anthony Alabi Drew Mormino

If I change it to..

LT Vernon Carey

LG Chris Liwienski

C Samson Satele

RG Rex Hadnot

RT LJ Shelton

Back-ups Joe Toledo Anthony Alabi Drew Mormino

Would that be more accurate?
