I didn't see a thread and thought this might be a good topic for those of us who might be drafting now or soon in new startup dynasty leagues. I'm currently 2/3rds done in a 12 team SF Best Ball PPR Dynasty League and thought I'd post the results for others to see. My picks are in bold if you care to tell he how good/bad I've done This is a $200 league if that matters to anyone. Starting lineups are 1qb, 2rb, 2wr, 1te, 1super flex, and 3 regular flex (RB/WR/TE)

I know this has been talked about ad nauseam but it's crazy what SF does to QB values. Goff at 4.11, not sure he even gets drafted in a 1qb start up.

I'm 99% sure he'll be on a new team next year and he was underutilized in Washington. I think he's got great short area burst and he ran a 4.31 at the combine, the speed is there and his hands are good too. I guess by mid 16th round I thought he was as proven and had as much upside as anyone still on the board.

Every Washington fan is counting on at very least, the play-calling to change/improve. I'm still okay if they want to give Sam a 2nd year with a better line and coaching, but also get the logic in taking a top 2 QB as well. Either way, I expect Washington to be a MUCH better offense with improved ownership, coaches, and players with the draft capitol and free agency pickups they can afford with a great salary cap situation.

Thanks for sharing your startup draft. That’s a wide gap between rookie 1.3 and rookie 1.4. I expect it to tighten up after the April draft. They’ll likely both have top 5 draft capital.

I like your draft overall. The 2 picks I question the most is Carr over Cousins. Carr is so bad that he's pretty much always in danger of being benched. Cousins has been a pretty consistent QB1. I also would have greatly preferred Aiyuk to the 1.5. He is 25, coming off back to back 1000 yard seasons. Yes SF has a crowded skill group but Kittle will be 31 next season, Deebo has his injury concerns, CMC will be 28. Aiyuk seems the guy best positioned to thrive in the offense for the next 3 years.

Your best values were McBride at 6.7. I wouldn't be surprised if this time next year he's going 3 round 3/4. I like the spot you got Hollywood as well. Ignoring his rookie year and this last year with their QB debacle, his career season pace is 960/7. That's a solid guy for a fleax spot or injury/bye week starts. He has a big weekly ceiling to make those spot starts worth it. He is going to be a UFA so I like taking the gamble he ends up in a good spot. If he were signed by KC, LAC, Dallas, Buffalo you could see his price jump several rounds.

I kid you not, I somehow missed that Cousins was still on board when I took Carr. I made the mistake of making that pick on my phone, should have been at my computer with the big monitor and I would have taken Cousins. Even posted that in our league chat. Was a total brain fart by me. I will say this though, I don't like Carr, but he really showed major improvement over the last month. But he sucked most of the season for sure.

I also completely get the questioning of 1.5 over Aiyuk, as I was debating between him and that pick. I think I just like the flexibility the draft pick brings, if I need to get a QB, I think there is a good shot Daniels is there. If not, I'm thrilled to get the #2 WR. Very fair comments and I appreciate the feedback/insight!

I also will continue to update the draft as I assume this could be helpful for others right?

Draft is complete (all 34 rounds) just updated in the middle of this page 1 with every pick. Clearly talent pool runs thin in the last 5-8 rounds

I was going to have the exact same comments and happy to see that it was an error on Cousins and not a conscious decision. If it was a conscious decision I would have been very confused and wonder what your rationale would have been.
