Game Thread W11 - Cleveland V Baltimore (1 Viewer)

I don't think the Ravens are going anywhere, but they've got to win this one to even fool themselves into thinking they can do something. Who would have thought before the season that they'd be underdogs at home against the Browns?

That was a stunning graphic CBS put up -- average opponent's starting position the last 2 weeks has been the Ravens' 39. You have no chance to win when that is the case.

How bad does Boeller look.

I know people liked this spot for him - great opportunity but he's had great opportunities in the past and come up empty

McNair and Boller hurt any other offensive fantasy players. They can't stay on the field due to turnovers.

McAlister with a great job stopping the TD completion to B Edwards. Ratbirds defense holds the Brownies to a FG but now the offense has to come back on the field. Oh, no.

Nice drive by the Pink Helmets, highlighted by a 50-yard reception by Joe Jurevicius when he and Anderson caught the defense flowing the wrong way, then a short pass and run by Winslow to set up the dive by Jamal.

what's the problem with McGahee ???2.2 ypc against Cleveland ??ARE YOU KIDDIN ME ??
I had a strong inclination to bench him. That offense is terrible. I hate McGahee but for some reason, year after year he ends up on one of my teams.

Another successful 3-and-out for the Ratbirds. Seriously, no turnover. That elusive first first down may be right around the corner.

Deciding to take matters into their own hands, Ray-Ray returns a pick for a Ratbird TD. Anderson's pass was behind the intended receiver, not a good one.

Browns shooting themselves in the foot with offensive penalties. Solve that problem and they'll score 'cuz they're moving the ball with some consistency.

39 yard FG by Dawson after a 13-play drive that started at the Browns 36. I think I counted 5 penalties on that drive. 13-7 Cleveland.

Spread out by 3 completions to Mason, McGahee bursts up the middle for 24 yards and then squirts through for a short TD run to cap a 75 yard drive and, inexplicably, give the Ratbirds a 14-13 lead.

I don't quite know what to make of this sudden display of competency.

Brownies come out WAY ahead on an exchange of punts and, with the help of a tough Jamal run up the middle, take advantage of the short field to score a TD (Anderson on the keeper). 20-14 Cleveland.

That one'll make the highlights, Boller getting drilled and releasing a wounded duck that Pool returns easily for about 97 yards and a TD. Is it Troy Smith time?

OMG

Billick playcalling is AWFUL

you have McGahee on fire.....and you keep putting the ball on Boller's hand

UNBELIEVABLE

Ravens reach the Cleveland 8 but a couple of sacks ends the drive and they settle for a Stover FG. 27-17, just over 12 minutes left. I think the Brownies are gonna blitz a lot from here on out.

Cribbs with another strong return. He's pretty good, huh?
