Bush Out So... (1 Viewer)

I looked but couldn't find any talk about this specifically... maybe it should be in AC, not sure... but I think it merits discussion... So Deuce pounds the rock... presumably Stecker takes the pass-catching Back role?... and Thomas will spell either or when needed?

How do you guys see this breaking down... from an NFL RB perspective but also from a FF perspective.

And yes I own Bush... and contemplating starting Stecker or Thomas or neither...

Really appreciate any thoughts/insight.

Here's an excerpt from the Times-Picayune beat writer's Q&A:

Q: So what's the game plan by Sean Payton with Reggie being out? Will it be running back-by-committee or will Sean want to commit to Deuce, Aaron (Stecker) or Pierre (Thomas)? Arif Patel, Princeton, N.J.A: Obviously, Deuce will get most of the carries but I think Stecker and Thomas will also figure into the game plan. I would look for Stecker to fill Bush's role as the third-down back in the passing game. Even before Bush's injury, Stecker was playing more and more in passing situations so I think he'll slide right into that role. I would anticipate Deuce to handle the bulk of the early-downs as the primary runner with Thomas spelling him for a series or two.

I'm trying to trade Stecker to the Bush owner in my PPR league, but he's not biting yet. In that format, I think Stecker will have decent value, with Thomas spelling Deuce on a couple of series.

It's tough to give up much for any of them besides Deuce at this point. Being a Bush owner, in a PPR/Flex league where my RBs are unfortunately weak, Stecker is still a free agent. At this point, the chances are high that no RB besides Deuce does anything in Bush's 2-4 week absence. Now if Deuce were still hurt, that's a differnet senario. But he's healthy.
