[DYNASTY] 2010 Composite Rookie Rankings (1 Viewer)

I'm new to this whole dynasty thing, last year having been my first. As I don't yet have a trusted source, beyond my own eyes, I went to seven different sources and averaged the rankings. Maybe this will be useful, maybe not. Not too many surprises.

The sources: 2010 RSP, TFYDraft.com, RookieDraft.com, DraftGuys.com, NFLDraftBible.com, NationalFootballPost.com, DraftCountdown.com. Maybe these aren't the best sources, but that's the point. This is learning exercise.

interesting to see Best>Mathews. Also, I think Gronkowski will always struggle with the back injuries. So, his ranking over Hernandez, J Graham, etc is interesting.

I didn't notice the OP's name until I read this post. I had to stifle my laughter when I went back to check it out :shrug:Excellent post. Any chance we could get IDP players in there too?

I'm not familiar with all of these sites, but I know that I put absolutely zero stock in what Scott Wright of NFL Draft Countdown says. He seemingly has zero football knowledge and his rankings are usually nothing more than the company line for every player.

Chris Steuber of Scout.com is another draft "expert" whose opinions I try to avoid. The guy is just clueless. Adam Caplan is the guy you want to listen to on their site since he seems pretty plugged in and his opinions usually have a basis in reality.

Hmmm, interesting, I find Wright to be pretty knowledgeable.

any ideas on why it shook down like this? based on overall athleticism and speed maybe, regardless of which back could be a full time pro?

yea I would have to know more about these guys to see if I would use their rankings. There are some people whose rankings will not be a part of any composite I use. Bloom, for example, recently made that list. I have nothing against the guy but I know based on him ranking Shipley over Demaryus Thomas that I want no part of his rankings. I'm sure there is plenty in this composite that I wouldn't like as well.
