Game Thread W11 - Cincinnati V Baltimore (1 Viewer)

1. Cam's offense doesn't appear to be fooling anyone these days.

2. If I'm the Stillers, I'm wondering how we lost twice to these guys.

 
Agreed about Dalton. As good as Cam Newton has been early on, I won't be surprised at all if Dalton ends up being the best QB of this class.

 
Rice just got jobbed on a TD. Said his knee was down before crossing the plane(clearly wasn't imo). Challenge flag thrown by Harbaugh.

Knee was down. You get a perfect view in that replay that the knee is down and his hand and the ball are well short of the goal line.
 
That Andrew Hawkins kid for Cinci looks legit. Dalton keeps looking at him on 3rd downs and Hawkins keeps delivering with impressive receptions.

 
1. Two real nice plays by Unibrow Joe, the first making the adjustment on Boldin's TD (assist to Cam for calling the rollout that bought all the time), and then the bomb to Torrey Smith on a pass that not every QB in the NFL can make.

2. I liked Dalton at TCU but I'd be full of it if I was to tell you that I thought he'd be this good at this level. He's got a long career ahead of him.

3. AJ Green and Ray Lewis absences = wash?

Pretty good game going.

Wow, think about the impact that could have on the game.

Because Smith had long hair the defender was able to tackle him. Without that I have to believe Smith outruns the two defenders to the end zone.

Instead, he's tackled and then the Ravens throw an interception. 7 likely points off the board, and the Bengals have field position and a minute left in the half to go make that an even bigger point swing.

Indeed, the Ratbirds missed a golden opportunity to put Cincy in a bad hole. That was a very bad read by Flacco on the pick. Dickson was covered all the way.
 
2nd TD run for Benson. I think I'm going to preemptively reject all offers from Benson owners on league message boards, 'cause you know they are coming.

 
I was really wrong about the Bengals this year. I thought with how their off-season went that they were going to end up one of the worst teams in the NFL. They did a great job in the draft.

 
Haven't watched the last few Balt games but been watching Stattracker... Is the Balt coach's strategy to pass the ball when they have the lead? Everytime I look I see "J. Flacco incomplete pass", doesn't matter the down.

 
What is wrong with Marvin Lewis, accepting the penalty and giving them another shot at third down?

 
Bengals could make a real statement here driving the length of the field for the go ahead score. And they always seem to be on the verge of busting one, too.

 
Good to see the No. 1 pick make a play. In Week 11. But we'll take it, this game was teetering on the brink. Looked like a bad read by Dalton but a lot more experienced QBs than him have had that sort of thing happen to them in Baltimore.

 
This one just got away from the Bengals. Webb picks off Dalton (his third) and Flacco slams the home run ball to Smith again.
