Most people have heard that Coca Cola once contained actual cocaine and a lot of people became addicted to it as a result. They stopped adding cocaine in 1903. What you may not know is that they still use coca leaves in their formula to this day.
The Stepan Company imports about 100 metric tons of dried coca leaves from Peru each year and processes them at their plant in New Jersey. They are the only company allowed by the FDA to import coca into the country. They extract the cocaine and sell the leaves to Coca Cola. The cocaine is then sold to a company called Mallinckrodt for "medicinal purposes".
Yet medical marijuana is the devil.
Liquid cocaine is used as an antiseptic and numbing agent. When I had most of the skin ripped off my back in a car accident, they poured it all over the area. Felt like someone tossed lighter fluid on me and set it ablaze for about a minute, but then all the pain was gone.
