Movies youre embarrassed to say you like (2 Viewers)

The one where Ashley Judd does some cheerleader routine in a tank top and panties was pretty good.
Saw that in the theater. Was the wife's choice as a chick flick. I remember Hugh Jackman and Greg Kineer being in it. Felt like I was stealing during that scene.

Don't know why. I love it.
That's another great pick for this thread. I want to like Katherine Heigl, but her movies are all terrible, except this one. I like it too.
nah i liked the one with gerard butler
Enh, I thought it was ok (SO is a Grey's watcher, oof, and therefore a KH fan, which is why I can discuss this situation intelligently) and they were both likable, but ultimately it was pretty bad. I also disliked Knocked Up, and the rest of her catalog is just garbage. 27D, tho, was really cute and well-written.

I spend way too much time in here. Wife and I were looking for something to watch, saw pitch perfect, she asked me to record it because there is no way in hell I would watch it, and I immediately thought of you guys.

Sigh

You like this 27 Dresses movie but not Knocked Up?! Ive never seen the former but Knocked Up is solid.

I'm actually not a fan of knocked up either. Just don't like Rogan's style.

That means you dont like Seth Rogen or his movies.

So is enjoying comedies these days hard to come by?

Just not a fan of the Apatow genre. 40 year old virgin, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Step Brothers, Pineapple Express, Bridesmaids; didn't really do anything for me. Struggled to make it through them. Anchorman is hilarious though. Get him to the Greek was a decent movie. Talladega Nights has some great one liners. and Superbad is pretty good. So He's hit or miss with me. Mostly miss.

Did like Zach and Miri make a porno. Which I never realized was a Kevin Smith movie. Probably explains why I can stand Rogan in that one.

Most of those dont involve Apatow or Rogen, actually almost all of them I think.

and IMO, most of those are solid comedies

All are Apatow produced or directed.

Like Insein, I'm not a Rogen fan and not really big on Apatow-style comedy either, with the exception of Forgetting Sarah Marshall, which I liked a lot. 27D is a cute movie with some clever touches and subtle humor, and Heigl and James Marsden (it was him, right?) were believable together.

The wife put on Love Actually while I was playing Civ IV on my laptop. I watched most of it, and found it surprisingly enjoyable.
