According to the tin foil hats (not the ones here on the Russian collusion thread), this was supposed to be a #MeTooMovement to say it was domestic abuse/assault/harassment as a way to get him out of the office.  I have heard conspiracy theories that have basically said the Harvey Weinstein and Hollywood scandals only came out now to open a door and build momentum for the departure of Trump, but I'm not buying it.

I have not seen that - though I have not paid very close attention.  I always thought the story about a risk to his presidency came from campaign finance law violations - probably a violation, unlikely enough to pursue impeachment.

At this point, are there really people still changing sides?    Its not like this is pre-election where a lot of people thought that Trump was going to turn into something more presidential once the election is over.

My guess he has a an infidelity clause with a fixed amount for each dalliance.  I also assume there is a specific, separate, financial arrangement tied to not divorcing Trump while he is president.  By all appearances, they live mostly separate lives, so she will cash in once the presidency is over - whenever that occurs.

Confirmed Trump is not morally righteous - but I thought that was common knowledge.  I felt kind of dirty actually watching the interview.  Makes me wonder if we had this type of coverage in the early 60s what a Kennedy expose would look like.  So beneath the office of the presidency, but back then it was taboo to bring scandals to light.  Look what the office has now become - ripe picking for scandalous reporting.  You could not have watched that and thought she was lying - although the part about being threatened in a parking garage would seem to require some corroboration.  As for her lawyer - he came off as a bit of a weasel, but does not make me doubt the veracity of her account.
