Do you really think Watts looked that good? It seemed to me he was always getting bullied in the run game and was a real liability. Now ISM, I agree he looked like he had some talent and that move was a surprise to me.

Video games...what ya playing? And what are you looking forward to?

Thanks, I'll definitely give the 2nd one a go when I find a good deal on it. Is it a direct sequel with the same character, and is it important to know what happened in the first game?

Video games...what ya playing? And what are you looking forward to?

I had a really hard time on the first one and ended up putting it aside and never going back. I liked a lot about it and wanted to see it through, but I just found it impossible to continue. It was as if the level requirements were too high for everything I had a quest for, but there was...

PSA: clean garbage disposal with ice cubes trick

Or maybe he just throws in any used citrus fruits when the opportunity arises? We use lemon and lime juice all the time, and the husks are always thrown in the disposal.

I agree, and I think in normal years he gets more for that pick. But this draft was one of those deep drafts where there were lots of solid prospects in the late 1st through 4th range, but not as much elite talent in that top half of the 1st. So less leverage in this case. I think he found the...

    I'm an alcoholic AMA

You're absolutely right it's not a perfect analogy. Maybe I should clarify.. I don't consider someone like yourself who goes long periods without drinking to be what most people would consider an alcoholic. I guess I what I mean is anyone who drinks even occasionally and is on that spectrum is...

    I'm an alcoholic AMA

I think one of the things I've realized of late, is that Alcoholism isn't a binary state. There is no obvious indicator that definitively checks the alcoholic box, nor is there any one person who can look over someone and differentiate between "yep this person is surely an alcoholic" or "nope...

    I'm an alcoholic AMA

According to my quit drinking app, I'm now 69 days sober (insert 12-year old humor here!). Way too early to celebrate, but so far it's been a good start to my new journey. Not gonna lie, I miss my stouts, but man I sure do enjoy being able to get a decent night's sleep. Best wishes to everyone...

Agreed. Fans like to view these situations as binary instead of acknowledging the gray area. I remember a time when John Elway was viewed as a guy who didn't have what it takes to ever win a Super Bowl. Or when Andy Reid was a coach who was only good in the regular season but was never going to...

No argument here. BigJim was curious about the numbers, so I just looked them up and provided. No judgements on my part. But it certainly lends some credence to the philosophy some people have that wins are a team stat, not QB stat.

I looked it up. Apparently it was 8-67 (.106) In December when the Rams beat the Cardinals, that was the first time in his career he had ever beaten a 10-win team late in the year. He was 0-9 in opportunities before that.

Do you truly think that's the reality of the NFL? I don't ask to be a jerk, because I've seen that suggested by lots and lots of people recently, but I'm skeptical. Bottom line, if you look at how often a QB on a rookie deal has won a Super Bowl, it's something like twice. In what.. over a...

This was one of my biggest complaints about the Zimmer era.. Fans: "Hey did you guys notice our favorite dude Bro McBrosky finally stepped in for some snaps last game and looked pretty solid? Surely he'll get some more playing time, right?" Zimmer: "Nope, let's throw the original guy out there...

I'm in the same boat. Intrigued but still very hesitant. I tried Demon Souls but just couldn't connect with it.
