I don't think you can do that. There probably wasn't a more juicy matchup last year than the week 16 game against Indy. They blew out Indy in the first meeting and Indy was one of the worst run defenses in the league, giving up almost 150 per game. The Texans should have rammed it down their...
Not only that, but he doesn't get the chance to show that he might only be average. His dynasty (and future FA) value will continue to rise if Foster stays healthy. If Foster goes down for any extended period of time, Tate gets a chance to show his flaws.
Yeah, I'm mainly wondering if it's an either / or situation. If it's covered by substance abuse rules, is Goodell even allowed to do anything under the personal conduct policy?
He isn't worth much at all if Foster stays healthy. I think you're overstating his floor. In weeks other than 1-3 and 17, when Foster was out or injured, Tate was 83-544-2 (11 games). That projects to a full season of 121-791-3. Those aren't bad numbers, but since they will be very inconsistent...
Add to that the fact that the police didn't arrest him initially on Saturday and guess who would appear on the witness list for the defense. I'm with Bankerguy on this. I don't see how the prosecutor even thinks about pursuing this.
I've heard that as well. If it does, can Goodell double dip on the suspension. In other words, if he is only subject to a small suspension under the substance abuse rules, can Goodell cite the conduct policy and tack on more?
I'd agree with this, but not necessarily for the reasons you give. I think his value will increase because he will get closer to becoming a FA. As long as the Texans don't extend his contract, he will be worth much more entering 2013.

This seems a little odd. So, he assaulted her on Saturday and the authorities knew about it and didn't notice injuries at that time. But, he wasn't arrested until Monday after injuries were apparent. How does he not get arrested on Saturday? Do they need to...
I don't see any reason to force people to carry 2 players at these positions. Let them rotate an extra player between the 3 to cover bye weeks if they want. We actually discussed eliminating the K position this past offseason. being required to carry 2 seems like overkill.Like C&C suggested...
I don't see any reason for roster requirements/restrictions. They don't encourage trading and probably have the opposite effect. I don't see any problems with a RB shortage in a 10 team league if you allow more RBs to be drafted.I don't see any need for a flex starter in a 10 team league.I'd...
If you're relaxing the roster requirements, I don't see any negative effects at all. I'd think a flex spot would make it easier to trade. If you're relaxing the starting requirements, I don't think that is necessary. I think the main reason for a flex starter is to alleviate shortages. A 10...
I remember discussing it at the time. From what I remember, it was in the 2-3" range. I think there was a thread about it.Here it is:
