PDFFL is entering it's 3rd decade, with a majority of owners having been around since inception. It's a 24 team league with two conferences, each having one copy of all players. We've been at this quite a while and have a good handle on issues that can arise. It's a mere $75/year, but the...
My current thinking is that the line between 1 and 2 is so fine, that location will dictate selection in most rookie drafts. Prediction: In a majority of leagues, 1.01 will select whomever goes to Arizona and 1.02 will select the other, whether it's LAC, NYG or NEP.
1 QB - Lamar Jackson or Justin Herbert?? Herbert's averaging 25, Jackson 22. Playing each other. Chargers WR/TE corps banged up. Jackson's ankle iffy? Weather the same for both; Chargers at home. Do you see a factor which would lean you one way or the other?
Perhaps a trade for Tannehill for the rest of the season would benefit both teams - allow Tennessee to see what their future looks like with Levis and Malik and provide Minnesota a stopgap solution at QB. If Levis performs well Thursday, Tannehill could be a bench player for Tennessee.
I have to believe Eagles are still in play - maybe even with their first pick. The signing of Penny to a cheap contract gives then a placeholder in case their draft plan doesn't unfold, but they've got to be considering him.
Curious about the format of the poll . . . if each team's own players are the ones rating themselves, as I would assume, then we don't have an apples to apples comparison. Appreciation of family might be a B+ on one team and a C on another - based on the perception of the players from those...
Sounds like Stephen A. is jockeying to become Lamar's agent :whistling: . . . I'd tag him, non-exclusive, and see what the market has to say about his value. Didn't Baltimore redesign their entire offense to embrace his skill set? - That's gotta factor into a decision by another organization...
Been on both ends of this. Announced my retirement from my local leagues (2 @ 18 years) after the season - offered to hand them off but no takers. Took over from a retiring commissioner basically because no one else raised their hand and it was a league I really like. So my advice is to...
No mention of C. Patterson yet. I'm sure 22 +3 is unsustainable, but he's certainly looking like at least like an RB2. Sell high or hold and ride the wild surf?
