Rodgers was taken out in the 3rd quarter as were many other starters as the fourth quarter progressed
By comparison, Palmer and most of the Raiders played the whole game....

He got hit from a corner blitz (who held on to his facemask for about 9 seconds, mind you)....I guess people would say that he held on to the ball too long.... But on third down, are you really going to throw the ball away and punt it in overtime to the offense that your defense has not stopped...

I heard that from several sources.... I've also read that the Packers were purposely trying to keep the game close so that Chicago would keep their starters in and so Cutler would keep taking a beating.... The players gave a half-effort until the very end when they needed it...Baited them...
