That's certainly a good point, but the team spielman put out there obviously had major problems before this team even started training camp.
It was Spielman that started the season with Ponder, Cassel, and Bethel-Thompson at QB. Why was he so afraid to have any real competition? It was Spielman...

I disagree, because I feel that Patterson is the kind of player that that could complement Ponder's lack of talent. Get him on short outs, bubble screens, or end arounds, basically high percentage completion plays, and it's obvious to everyone that he has the talent and physical ability to house...
dmack I'll always go a TE that I feel can go off on any given week over guys like that because of the scoring format. Both kinds of player have very erratic weeks, but a TE can give you a better chance at a huge week if you hit. The extra .5 PPR does make a difference.
