There is still a ways to go to get back to pre-Covid levels, but we are well on our way. Spring 2019 industry had about 4.1M units in stock/transit. Fall 2021 the number dropped below 1M units. Currently a bit over 2.6M. So around a 50 day supply of inventory at current sales rates.

EV market slowing much faster than anticipated. Instead of slowing from 60% growth to 30% growth, it may be flat to single digits. Used EV with the tax credit if you qualify would be the sweet spot for a nice purchase.

Vanguard Federal Money Market Fund - VMFXX is still paying out 5.27%. Short term treasuries are still in the 5.25% range, so they may be just pulling back to see if they can improve their profits.

Based on my experience with the Lightning, range would likely be cut a considerable amount by the weight and aerodynamics of the trailer. Charging with a trailer attached could also be a challenge. I'd hesitate on anything over say 60-75 miles.

I’d lean towards joint accounts being more popular in a first marriage. If someone decides to venture in for a second round, separate accounts make a lot of sense. IRAs and 401Ks are already separate, and depending on when you get married you likely have established savings and brokerage...

Daniel Kahneman passed away. Nobel prize in Economics, pioneer in behavioral economics. The Undoing Project is a great book by Michael Lewis detailing his work with Amos Tversky. Really enjoyed his books and listening to his interviews.
