As a member of the Cult of Jobs - I'd love to have one to play with but $3500 is too much for my budget.
I think AR will be huge, though likely not for awhile.
Really? I can't imagine this lack of curiosity.
IK bumps into Carl Benz in 1866. "Mr. Ivan, I'm looking for test users to try my new invention, the motorwagon".
IK: "I wouldn't want one even it was free. I have horses, who needs a tin can to move people around. "
Wifey and I currently bingeing Bosch - midway through Season 3. I'd rate it 6-7 out of 10 thus far. Entertaining enough to keep us coming back after the kids go down the last week or so, but not great.

gianmarco's post sums up the challenges of long trips in EVs, but the reality is 99.2% of daily car trips in America are less than 100 miles per day. So EVs absolutely work for most families, 99% of the time.
Doubtful that it's worth it to you at this point, but if you find a Level 1 charger on craigslist or Facebook marketplace for cheap ($50?), could be worth it. When I first got my i3 I traveled a bit for local youth softball tournaments and local hotels will usually let you plug into a wall...
