He got knocked out of the GB game, diagnosed with the AC sprain. Sucked the next game against TB. 127 yards, no TD.
Re-aggravation of the same injury, no other receiving threats, so Carolina can focus on Olave- doesn't look good to me.
Considering benching him for Hubbard. Make me feel sick, but with Carr being hurt (shoulder really concerns me) and being, well, Carr; I don't have a lot of confidence.
Has there been any official indication of whether he IS or IS NOT in the concussion protocol?
I know Bri said he believed Vrable mis-spoke or was mis-quoted when he said he isn't in the protocol, but that is the latest news: that he isn't in the protocol. Obviously, we have to watch practice...
From that article, of the 11 players who started out the week after a concussion as a LP on Wednesday, only one went from LP on Wednesday to another LP on Thursday, and then played the next game.
Olave was LP on Wednesday, LP on Thursday.
I have a team whose WR depth is lacking. Have the opportunity to trade etienne and Adam’s for Lamb and Swift.
Catch is that it’s a salary cap, keeper league. Adams and Lamb can’t be kept & Swift is likely too expensive to keep. Etienne is $4.60 ($100 cap). Top RBS available at auction...
Whether you believe her reporting or not, Bell is a pretty legitimate source for injury info (general info about injuries; not direct knowledge of specific injuries to specific players)
He’s not going to get a $15M contract.
I believe the previous post was saying that whole age doesn’t factor into the comp pick “formula,” the age of the player DOES factor into the contract they will be offered, which is the main factor. So while age isnt a direct factor, it is a contributing...
I read a similar article on CBS about a week ago. There was no source, or "proof." It was offered as a "what if this was happening?"
I think it's highly unlikely that this would be happening today, but what do I know? You'd have to have a coach willing to neglect to use his best player...
If another team signs him off LA’s practice squad, they have to keep him on their active roster for a specified period of time. Which should mean higher pay for Henderson. Probably not a big deal, financially for NFL teams; but I’d imagine the difference is significant for the individual.
I don't think Carr is playing well, at all. Perhaps it is acclimating to a new system, new WRs, IDK. But he seems like he is thinking too much. Before every single play, he's doing too much "23's the Mike," "no 33's the Mike," "check, check," etc, etc.
Right before the 2 minute warning...
OK, I see what you're saying, but I don't think it makes sense.
Stefanski has historically used the run game (ground and pound strategy); it appears to be his preferred offensive strategy. When Watson came back last year & at the beginning of this year, it appeared they tried to use the pass...
So, you think that the game plan that they utilized to knock off one of the best teams in the NFL, who had been unbeaten before the Browns employed that game plan, will be shelved by the Browns coaching staff?
Logic would dictate that if they used this gameplan to defeat one of the best teams...
