Josh McDaniels: "Running game will change"

The change will be the Patriots style- rather than run, throw it to Vrabel.

    NFL RedZone channel

I would agree if it wasn't for the fact that it's all the action of football without the commercials or timeouts. Even the casual fan would appreciate that. Plus I would be shocked if the introduction of RedZone didn't cut into the Sunday Ticket numbers.

    NFL RedZone channel

As much as I would hate for it to happen, I can't see the RedZone channel not going up in price next season. They keep raising the Sunday Ticket price every year and people are willing to pay, so what about RedZone? What if they make it $5 a week pay-per-view? $10?

The Pro Bowl should officially be cancelled

I'd almost rather see a Pro Bowl type game played in the last week of exhibition based on off-season voting than at the end of the season. The guys fighting for roster spots play in the exhibition game and the "stars" stay active by playing in their all-star game. As for the Super Bowl, I wish...

    Official 2010 Vikings tread

I think the biggest question is what to do about Peterson and his fumbles. Taylor is free to go this offseason, and as much as Peterson is capable of the big play, if the passing game takes a step back, I think there needs to be additional RB help. There are some decent names in FA right now...

Josh McDaniels - Lets give him a hand

I file it more under McDaniels wants HIS guys, not leftovers from the previous regime. He converted Royal and Scheffler to absolute duds this year, and has put guys like Daniel Graham and Jabar Gaffney (former Pats) into more prominent roles. Gaffney was practically being groomed in preseason...

If you're a Don Cheadle fan, "Traitor" was pretty good.

    The 2009 K Thread

Do the same strict guidelines for QB/RB/WR concussion recoveries apply to kickers (i.e. Cundiff)? I like his matchup, but it's against my religion to hold two kickers on my roster.

Best and Worst Current NFL Announcers/Analysts

edit: nm, saw it was head coaches Siragusa is the worst on TV period though.

Any seasons of MI-5 Let the Right One In (subtitled)- freaky movie about a child vampire

    Spinoff: Rivalries

I agree, but since Colorado lost most of the talent (and the coach) it hasn't felt the same for years. It's the only rivalry I've been alive for that had fighting goalies, coaches facing off by their benches, and players talking like they're going to war.

    Spinoff: Rivalries

(As a spinoff of the 'rivalry of the decade' thread) What makes a good rivalry- history or current relevance? Can a good rivalry span divisions? Conferences? Do rivalries last through stretches where teams are no longer competitive? As a Bronco fan, I'd say Denver-San Diego is probably one...

Beanie Wells = this year's Pierre Thomas?

He got shoved by Trufant (?) and went and shoved back- the penalty was on his retaliation.

    sell dwill high now

Looks like the sell high window has slammed shut. :kicksrock:

    Game Thread W9 - Arizona V Chicago

I find it funny that this team will change QBs before seriously considering pounding the rock. Beanie gets his longest gain from scrimmage for the franchise in the Whizenhunt era and he still won't feed him the ball.

Game Thread W9 - San Diego V NY Giants

Actually the first play after the penalty was a screen to Nicks on the right side (which surprised NO ONE)- should've started running it from there and then thrown on 3rd down if necessary since Jacobs was getting decent chunks of yardage (the few times he was used anyway).

    McNabb is killing Celek

Anybody lose because of Celek this week?

    McNabb is killing Celek

I guess the issue is, what reliable elite TE is going to be available for you in week 8 without overpaying? If you're not comfortable w/ Celek, by all means, make a play for Cooley's backup on the Skins, but other than him, I'd take Celek over the Fasano/Carlson/Boss/Pettigrew types that are...

    McNabb is killing Celek

Can't count last night- the defense was playing lights out requiring very little from the offense. As for the Raiders game, I swear the teams switched uniforms. I trust McNabb far more with the dump off plays to the RB/TE than I do the deep ball.

    Deangelo second half

I'd consider moving him for Ronnie Brown, Chris Johnson, or Steve Slaton...playoff schedule looks tough vs MIN/NYG/NO- all teams that should be up by 3-4 scores by the end of the 1st quarter given how the Panthers are playing. I was hoping for a Thomas Jones-esque performance yesterday to try...
