What about Mahomes for Kamara?

I know....at 0-2 I am tempted to do Mahomes for Kamara and just go for it.  If Kamara can be close to himself for a few weeks until Brees gets back and Jackson keeps rolling, things could get really good.  That's a few "ifs" though, but my whole RB corp is a big bunch of "ifs"!

I just worry about the "fumble-itis" Carson showed in that last game.  Penny came in and did well.  I may have an option to trade for Penny if I get Carson, but it's no guarantee.

If Chubb is there (or any of Barkley, Kamara, McCaffrey inexplicably fall to you), that's who I take.  If it's down to Johnson and those other 4 are gone.....then I take Hopkins.

I had pick 6 a few days ago and took Hopkins over both guys.  I've been seeing Chubb go as early as #4 in some drafts (probably because of your concerns....Elliott holding out, Johnson a risk, etc), so don't expect him to be there later on.
