Anyone thinking about taking a bite at coal (BTU, ANR, ACI)? Good beat yesterday, but downgrades have washed out all the gains. Sounds like wall street is clearing the deck and scooping these names up cheap.
For everyone who likes the new age electo/funk/synth/disco there is some solid music out there. Mostly remixes, but solid nonetheless.

oof I really don't know anymore. Its crunch time, last major support is 5.37. So much volume with no news it makes the fundamental play short-term almost irrelevant. We've crossed the support several times, but have yet to close below it. If we do, we're looking at downside in the 4's. Yikes...
Despite my bullish call at 14.62, I'm actually a little worried here. Its broken several support lines, most notably in the 14.0's and the next support thereafter is in the low 13's. Oil also facing bearish technicals with a major downside. I'm going to wait to double/triple down my positions...
Well, i think its a decent entry point. Not too much to the downside, I think the wild ride we saw yesterday was the stock essentially bottoming at 5.5ish and then a mass of stop losses triggered in these levels dropped it lower and very quickly. The company just got an injection of 660M to pay...
HUN: Manipulation at its finest. Seconds before trading was stopped (we're talking about a window of maybe 10-20 seconds) someone managed to slip in an order of 1M shares. Upon the announcement, share price dropped around 20% (6.4 to 5.25) over the course of under 1/2 hour, then rebounded from...
 They had a deal to be sold at $28 in Jun 08 before CS and DB reneged on their obligation to finance it. It fell with all the other spec. chemicals but they had a really good case. It appears that the Huntsman family got suckered by the banks. Wow. The case was going swimmingly by all...
Trading back open and Hunstman down big. After doubling its market cap. WTMF? Everone thought this was a $9 at least on the open. They just settled with CS and DB in the Tortuous Impairment case. 1.7B settlement, which was = to its ATM MktCap.
:deadbanana:
To the MoonWOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! Best moment as an investor. 316 Million each from CS and DB! 550Million in senior notes each over the next 7 years.
Settlement: 1.7Billion as per HUN's website
Whats the consensus on FEED? I see that everyone is trying to get out- and perhaps for good reason (+287% ytd) but I ran the value numbers on it, clears all my benchmarks. Very impressive. Machine tells me that this is still severly undervalued. I think this might be the case for a boatload of...
:( Got in thursday 150 @ 6.178--> just a technical buy. But the story is pretty compelling. For those who are already aboard, John Huntsman Sr. is reportedly charming the jury and the DB Director has been real standoffish. Not to mention that Huntsman was selling the business to pour money...
Might be a great time to get into UNG or nat gas plays in general. Strong support in the 14.8's, sma support too. The almost linear downtrend from August 08 till early May 09 is clearly broken, and the oil/gas ratio is hitting extreme highs. Dollar weakness too? Inflation trade?
Probably late...
