    Superflex PPR Dynasty Startup

If you don't play in any Superflex leagues, now's your chance. If you haven't heard of it, Superflex just means there is one flex position where you can start a QB. It allows for up to 24 QBs to have relevance every week rather than just 12. Since QB is the most important single position on an...

    Question regarding alternative IDP scoring

I'm putting together a startup Redraft/Auction/IDP league. Someone recently suggested an IDP scoring system where IDP scores are partially modified based on the stats of the opposing offense. They way they worded it was "if out of 9 starting D you started 2-3-4 you could subtract 10% of opposing...

9th Buffalo Bill out for season - Peerless Price

I'm speaking from a Buffalo homer's vantage point, but it seems like all over the number of injuries through 4 weeks is way up this year. I'm starting to wonder if this a case of the increase in player size and speed over time reaching a critical point. Curious to see if anyone else thinks this...

    Suscriber IDP Dynasty Rankings

If I take more notes reading your posts here I could probably assemble them myself, but nonetheless I would love to see your IDP Dynasty Rankings on the site...because I'm sure you don't have enough to do as it is! :goodposting:

    CBS Sportsline Experts IDP League

I saw this 29-round draft featured at Football Outsiders and noticed John Norton is an owner. I'm curious if John posted an article/blog with some analysis of the draft. Thanks!

Is there a bright side to picking 5th in non-ppr?

I'm in a 12-team redraft, non-ppr and picking 5th. With ppr I could feel ok throwing my hat in with Westbrook, Addai or even Reggie Bush. Non-ppr it just seems like you've got 5 or 6 guys who could hit the Top 5 this year, but might as well be picking 3-5 slots later to make your decision easier...

    Brandon Siler

Just curious. He was ranked right about 50th overall going into the draft but was not taken until pick #240. I assume teams had news of something the rest of us were unaware of? Considering most other guys with off-field issues didn't suffer much on draft day, I can't imagine how someone goes...

Draft from hell or most hilarious ever?!

My wife joined her own league this year. She has a very passable knowledge of all the basic do's and don'ts, who is injury prone, stud RB and best value theory etc. She relies on me for ADP info to avoid reaches and more recent player info. so I tagged along to her draft last night. Now this is...

OK so I drafted Portis at 1.04 24 hours before the injury.

12 team IDP-redraft w 6 pt passing TDs and no PPR. Start 1QB/2RB/3WR/TE/2LB/2DB/2DL/2D-flex. I would like to get a solid RB2 and a few WRs before I grab Betts. Obviously if it looks like Portis is back in Week 2 I can wait longer than if he's back in Week 5. Yuour thoughts on when to move on Betts?

Brian Dawkins: Top 10 DB or quality depth?

Some fairly divergent opinions regarding Dawkins in two different FBG articles: EOTG (Norton)- "Decent #3 starter or quality depth, inconsistency is an issue" Value Plays IDP - "He finished last year as the #4 overall defensive back but has an ADP/ranking near #10, behind such big name...

    Rookie IDP question.

I've been reading EOTG religiously to help get my cheatsheets together for my first IDP draft. Several players have comments like "could be solid #3 if your league overvalues sacks". Here is my leagues' defensive scoring... .5 points for assisted tackles 1 point for solo tackles 1 point per...

2 TE Sets: This year's offensive trend

I've read that several teams (Dallas and NE come to mind) are going to be using more 2TE sets this year. My first thoughts are: 1.) Great! More protection for Bledsoe/Brady...more options to dump off to as well. Maybe not though since defenses will obviously make adjustments. 2.) More blocking...

    Washington Defense

My first year drafting IDP's and I'm kneedeep in homework... OK so I read that Gregg Williams uses an aggressive 3-4 that is pretty complicated and relies heavily on blitzes. At first glance it seems like defensive FF points are spread pretty wide on this team. No one at any position scored in...
