Yeah, I posted in the Puka thread in Shark Pool. Eye test says Puka looks great and Jones doesn't look right. I see Puka as a legit WR1, and in half PPR if I can't get a legit RB1 then I'm holding. Puka for Jones or Pacheco is off the table.
Fortunately my team wrapped up week 7 win last night...
We don't always get to see the guys we draft/claim for our teams, but I really like the point of "trust the eyes". Like last year with Christian Watson. I claimed him after that huge 3 TD breakout game. It seemed fluky, but I got to see him play the next game. The guy was just so fast ... could...
It's position for position, so really comes down to just who do you like more.
I think I like your side a little more (getting Burrow and Chase). Things seem to be improving with those two, and the stacked TDs might be what puts you over the top to get some wins.
This is 0.5 PPR. Start QB, 2 WRs, 2 RBs, TE, R/W/T flex (and DST and K).
Despite being 2nd high scorer, team is only 3-3 due to bad matchup luck (and likely looking at another loss unless I have some big overperformers). RB has been a struggle all year, and the recent loss of Kyren just kills...
Where guys were drafted is out the window by week 6. Not that Henry has tanked, but he's been your 4th most productive RB. Absolutely no problem with benching him. Just don't beat yourself up when he has his occasional monster game (and you know at least one more is coming, barring injury).
Don't like that ... if I was trading Jacobs or Breece I'd want a tier 1 QB in return. Fields for Swift is very fair. Sometimes other managers aren't interested in fair, or have such overinflated values for their own players that it's not worth the effort trying to trade with them.
I'd stay put. Chase is great, but Keenan + Ridley. And Breece is coming on ... in a vacuum I'd rather have him than Burrow (and Allgier seems kind of like a throw-in).
Stroud is certainly capable. If you really believe in Burrow, maybe try something a little less blockbustery? A RB or WR...
If WR is a position of need, I'd certainly shop one. The WRs you mentioned are certainly fair trades. Hock would probably be an easier sell since he's more established. Look at the teams who are weak at TE in your league. Look for one with a decent bench option at WR, and make a play for one of...
I was in an IDP league where you had to start about as many defensive players as offensive ones. And matchups flipped frequently after scoring corrections. I don't play in that league anymore because I just didn't like how every close matchup you had to sweat the stat corrections.
I've never...
Ah, auction ... makes perfect sense now. Never played it, but it's certainly intriguing. Does give more flexibility in strategy (like the "stud heavy" approach you did)
I 100% get where you're coming from. And I see what you did loading up the bench with RBs who could be an injury away from being startable RBs. And RBs seem to be the position that's most likely to have a guy come out of nowhere on the waiver wire too. But it's rarer for that to happen with QBs...
But CMC, Bijan, and Jefferson?!? I don't know how that's even possible. Although maybe you swung a deal of some kind sending a whole lot of depth to upgrade to the starters. Which I don't mind the idea of doing. Serviceable starters can be found on the WW in 12 team leagues ... but rarely elite...
12 team redraft. Half PPR (start QB, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, TE, R/W/T flex, K, DST with 6 bench spots and 1 IR spot).
Eagles DST is the most surprising. I would've been all over them, but was able to get Cowboys DST and have Hurts at QB (and I don't like rostering backup QBs or DSTs).
At RB, both Indy...
I had my draft last night (12 team half PPR) and that's exactly how it panned out for me. I was picking 4th, and was planning on taking one of the "big three" QBs (Mahomes, Allen, Hurts) if they were on the board and crazy value at WR or RB didn't drop. I wasn't sure how TE would play out...
Here's a draft I did last night. 12 team, half PPR. Start QB, 2 WRs, 2 RBs, TE, W/R/T flex (and K and DST). Mix of serious and casual fantasy players (and it's pretty easy to pick out the Packers homer).

And ... it's over. Lost by 2.5. Justin Jefferson and Jalen Hurts were my MVPs during the regular season, but let me down when I needed them the most. I've made the title game at least half a dozen times in my long-running league (and made the playoffs every single year). But only have a single...
12-team 0.5 PPR ESPN redraft
QB: Hurts (I hope ... if not, rolling with Minshew)
RB: Barkley, Pacheco (or AJ Dillon)
WR: Jefferson, AJ Brown
Flex: Mike Williams I think (either him or Watson)
TE: Kmet
K: Folk
DST: Jags (just streaming what I hope is a good matchup)
Finished 10-4, #1 playoff...
