U of Tennessee WR Justin Hunter

Wouldn't that be more harmful to a possession receiver? For Hunter it's just a 5 step drop and sling it to the sky. I would think he'd be more immune to the QB carousel than Kendall Wright.

    Branden Oliver

I'm admittedly reached big time, but I just dropped Jonathan Stewart for Oliver in a shallow dynasty leagues. Other RB's are Spiller, Ellington, Joique, Carlos Hyde and Christine Michael so I needed immediate relief.

    Calvin (GTD?)

Calvin in the lineup. I can't stay away, I'll blame Mort for saying Caldwell made him prove he could go. :)

    Calvin (GTD?)

That's a pretty rudimentary line of thought. My eyes saw what they saw last week and what Calvin was doing does not constitute "playing". He couldn't cut and push off AT ALL. Like the other poster, I'm benching for Quick unless I see him in pre-game warmups running anything resembling a...

Is Now the Time to Sell Calvin Johnson?

Of the top 50 WR seasons since the merger, just five were authored by a receiver over the age of 30 and three of them belonged to Jerry Rice at ages 31-33. The other two were Terrell Owens (age 34) and Mushin Muhammed (31). I know none of that speaks specifically to Calvin Johnson - if there's...

    Cecil Shorts wr Jax

It doesn't take Bridgewater. Don't get me wrong, as a Jags fan I'm hoping you're correct. But even if they aren't able to land Teddy, the '14 draft will go 4-5 deep of names that would be a significant upgrade to Henne/Gabbert.

Andre Ellington - RB - Clemson.

Your course is clear. You need to take one for the team and start Gio.

    Ivory v Powell

Ivory has firmly taken control of the job...until he's injured again at least.
  9. F

Andre Ellington - RB - Clemson.

I had a hunch Ellington would struggle last week and I have a hunch he goes insane this week. 200 all-purpose yards and 2 TD's.
  10. F

    Riley Cooper

I don't disagree with your rationale. Only with the final analysis that it = more opportunity for DeSean.
  11. F

    Riley Cooper

Calvin and Cooper comfortably ahead of Cecil Shorts, Marlon Brown and Marvin Jones (basic non-ppr). Caveat: I picked Riley up this week and this is his 1st start. I have been a WR-killer all year, so I'm just giving everyone ample warning...

Andre Ellington - RB - Clemson.

Continues to be in my lineup over MJD and Rice.

U of Tennessee WR Justin Hunter

Been keeping an eye out and literally don't think he's been on the field for an offensive snap - 6:16 left in the 2nd.
  14. F

U of Tennessee WR Justin Hunter

Meh, less ballsy than reckless. But my WR's are a crapshoot behind Calvin and Riley Cooper and I need a new toy to root for! :)
  15. F

U of Tennessee WR Justin Hunter

Screw it - Hunter's in over Shorts, Marvin Jones and Marlon Brown.

U of Tennessee WR Justin Hunter

I'd still lean to the (w)right.
  17. F

U of Tennessee WR Justin Hunter

Was just thinking I'd love to start him tonight over Marvin Jones or Shorts as my #3 in non-ppr, but I'm reaching.

    Real Collusion

Just sucks that they'd even try it in a friendly league. You gotta be a major DB to try this among friends and then even go so far as to defend it after the fact. After you get the smackdown at least laugh it off and say something like "Well, we thought we'd try!" That the 6-4 owner is defending...
  19. F

    Riley Cooper

Fair enough. But most teams DO cheat the safety toward the #1 WR. Point being, the original question was will this open things up for DeSean? I would say no because teams would rather take their chances with Cooper.
  20. F

Andre Ellington - RB - Clemson.

I agree, Arians will be content to play defense and control the clock. Ellington will need to make his own luck between the 20's if he's gonna see paydirt.
