North London Derby can't be any worse than the Manchester Derby, can it? If I didn't have De Gea as my #FPL captain, it would have been a complete snooze fest.
Sig! I'm contemplating pulling Megatron from my flex spot (other WRs are AJ and TY) for CJ Anderson. Is this crazy? I just don't feel like Stafford will be successful today at all.
Morning, Sig. I have a little idea that Kaepernick might have success vs. NYG on the ground due to Russell Wilson's pile of yardage with the read option last week. Is it crazy to start him over Stafford this week?
Sorry, Sig. Didn't know I was coming off as such. This is actually for the league I care about the least, but I wanted to try to throw in some quasi-analysis to let you know how I was approaching this decision.
.5 PPR : Which is the better RB start (bye is hurting), Chris Johnson or Taliaferro? I feel that CJ has better chances to catch the ball, but Lorenzo has better TD upside. I'm also a bit concerned that the Jets swing the touches advantage back to Ivory this week.
I'm a little concerned about Joique Bell this week with all the Theo Riddick talk flying around Twitter. Would it be a safer proposition to start either Sankey or Forsett as my RB2 this week, or is rolling with Joique finally going to pay off?
Thank, Sig!
Hey, Sig.
Which TE should I start this week, Donnell or Kelce? And would it be insane to put the other guy in my flex spot? It's non-ppr, and I also have Crabtree, Sproles, Knile Davis, and Golden Tate as possible flex-ers, as well.
I'm fortunate enough to have Golden Tate waiting in the wings should Calvin be an early-game scratch, but it would be nice for my studs to start acting like studs (hear that, Shady?).
Morning, Sig. I had Alfred Blue or Knile Davis pencilled in for my non-PPR flex spot, but it looks like Charles and Foster will be active this week. So, who would be the best alternative:
Golden Tate vs. Jets ( already starting Megatron )
Joique Bell vs. Jets ( really hard to run on )...
I need Nicks and the Black Unicorn to hold on to my 39 pt. lead (0.5PPR) going up against Santana Moss + Garcon, so I can stave off mathematical elimination.
So THAT's why my opponent moved Bell into his starting lineup this week; I thought that was strange. I guess Sproles makes it back into the lineup this week, then.
Assuming he gets back to practice tomorrow, that should give us a better indication as to whether he is actually injured - even given the day off for the birth of his child (congratulations are in order, Mikel).
@AdamSchefter teams around league have contacted Carolina to inquire about RB DeAngelo Williams.
He might have been dropped in some leagues (as he has in mine), but what are the odds that a trade in the NFL actually happens?
Sitting him for James Jones this week; with Jordy Nelson highly questionable for tomorrow, I'm thinking the targets/receptions get an up-tick for both Jones and Cobb. I just can't trust Brady Quinn to do any better than, say, 19-37 / 210 yds / 1 INT.
The news of Megatron missing Friday practice (knee) has made me a little more likely to give Weeden the nod over Stafford this week; if Stafford isn't doing well with Calvin, he should not have many good options vs. SEA without him.
I've been disappointed by Stafford all year (and my record shows it), but is this the week I sit him on MNF for Cutler? I'm just worried that last week's 4th quarter burst from Stafford won't be there on Monday.
