If you told me a month ago this team would lose in the 1st round of playoffs, I'd have called you crazy.
Cam Newton
Peterson
McFadden
Megatron
Julio Jones
Percy Harvin
Gronkowski
Akers
Packers DST
Sick.
How the hell do the officials miss that facemask? That might have cost me my fantasy game. Having Harvin and Gerhart going against the Lions. Argh. Worst officiating ever this year.
Take a look at how big physical WRs who start out dominant do after 27? He's not just now entering his prime. He is either near the end of it or on the downslope. Take a look at what happened to Anquan Boldin. With the injuries he's suffered, Marshall will be an old man faster than you're...
ESPN listed him as a WR and RB. If it didn't work to his advantage, nobody would care. If he didn't own him, whoever did would have use him as a WR. Would there have been an outrage if someone started him at RB the week Spiller started at WR? Unless your league will permit you to use someone...
Clemson just seems to have bad luck. William Perry, Gaines Adams, McGlockton, Clarke Bynum, and I know there were 1 or 2 1st round picks in basketball that either died or had to retire.
I don't think he is. Marshall has never lived up to his promise. Plus, he's on the downslope of his career. In dynasty, Antonio Brown is a no-doubt top 20 WR to me, possibly top 15. Marshall isn't.
I think he sits next weekened. A gut feeling, but my fact to back it up is he's still in a walking boot and Hue Jackson was talking about how they needed him to walk first before he can run. I'd be surprised if he was ready week 11. Very rarely do you take a walking boot off after sustaining...
Selling if I need to make a playoff push. Cautious buyer if I'm a lock for playoffs. I will be surprised if he plays week 11. If you can find someone who doesn't care and/or is a lock for the playoffs or a top seed, I think that's your best bet.
I'm sure everyone's glad they passed on other guys who've gotten hurt like Ray Rice, Foster, Gore, Mathews, MJD, Michael Turner, Welker, Colston, and Steve Smith. You should have taken guys who don't get hurt like Jamaal Charles, Chris Johnson, and Tim Hightower. There is some merit to certain...
Normally, I'd agree. But I put more stock into this one week than any other because it was Palmer's first game. He took a liking to Ford and Moore. Well worth a roll of the dice, especially with how bare waiver wires look.
I find this thread pretty funny. I've been as down on Mendenhall as anyone for the last 2 years. Now, I find myself more optimisic about him than most. He's on a high-powered offense, that figures to be leading most games, playing on a team in the coldest and windiest division in football...
There are a LOT of people starting players that bad. I'm starting Taiwan Jones in 3 leagues, and DJ Ware, Da'Rel Scott, and Bernard Scott in others. Ogbannaya wasn't even available.
I'm in favor of this. Two reasons being Kris Dielman and Stewart Bradley (week 1 last year). Obvious concussion, couldn't stand up straight and/or fell flat on their face, but cleared by the doctors. The referee in a boxing match can stop the fight. I see little reason NFL refs shouldn't.
Just to put a finer point on how terrible their rankings are. The 4 rankings I called out a couple weeks back were not just really bad as I suspected, but truly horrific in hindsight.Garcon ranked #3 - finished #43 that week.
Mike Thomas ranked #8 - finished #80 that week
Massaquoi ranked #13...
Some of us don't have that luxury. And by some of us, I mean Daniel Thomas, Jahvid Best, Beanie Wells, Willis McGahee, Ryan Mathews owners. I'm going to start Bernard Scott and Dexter McCluster this week, in 2 different TEN team leagues.
