Let me start by saying there was no collusion involved. I received the offer Sunday morning and accepted it.
The trade: Greg Olson for Duke Johnson
The team trading Olson is 3-2 and his other TEs are Gronk and JT. He had been playing Olson in the flex before JT returned. Had Olson benched...
What happened? Obviously we're happy with the TDs but why the lack of targets this weekend? Looked like the SOD after week one, now... Sell high?
Appreciate responses from those who saw the game.
The smoke screen is over now that the regular season is here. He will lead the 49ers in targets which of course means he'll lead the team in all receiving stats. Will have seemed obvious in retrospect.
Finally practiced again and wasn't even on the injury report this week. So, he was a healthy scratch???
Is he still the starter if healthy?
Any insight would be appreciated.
Who is he?
With TE production hard to come by this year there's bound to be a guy or 2 who step up to become legitimate starts down the stretch.
My 2 possibilities:
Marcedes Lewis. 2 nice games in a row...gaining the trust of Garrard. Weak WRs competing for touches.
Alge Crumpler. The...
Lions head coach Rod Marinelli said Monday that the soreness Kevin Jones is experiencing in his foot is not out of the ordinary, but wouldn't speculate whether Jones will play in Week 11.
Jones' surgically repaired foot routinely gets sore after games, but he hasn't been on the injury report...
Packers backfield in flux again
DeShawn Wynn, RB GB
News: The Wisconsin State Journal is among those reporting that Packers rookie RB DeShawn Wynn missed practice with a neck problem. Coach Mike McCarthy termed the problem as "neck spasms." Wynn says the injury occurred while lifting weights...
Also not practicing (yesterday) was tight end L.J. Smith, who played briefly last Sunday against the Jets, catching one pass for 8 yards. Reid had said Monday that Smith was sore, "but it's a good sore."
It didn't sound quite so good yesterday, when Reid reiterated that Smith was sore and...
According to FOXSports.com insider John Czarnecki, rookie Adrian Peterson will see more action than Chester Taylor, who was involved in a fight with teammate Erasmus James this week, in today's game against the Bears.
Seems like it would be the wise move -- Peterson clearly poses a greater...
This was the week he had to step up to avoid the BUST label. He's got it now. No improvement in the passing game and the Rushing TDs aren't coming anymore.
Time to bail? Buy low?
I'm pretty sure he didn't die, but is he dead as a fantasy prospect? Griese doesn't have the big arm like Rex so maybe he'll favor Moose moreso than Berrian, who's got the dropsies this year.
Yea, I'm diggin deep, but it wouldn't be the first time Muhammad woke up and turned it on.
Anyone...
Is this deja vu from last year where the injury is "no big deal" until they have to put him on the shelf for some healing time?
Was it broken all along or did it progress from a sprain to a break?
Can he really continue to play with this? and be effective?
Any history of people playing...
Looked like a nice sleeper this year reuniting with Lineham but I haven't heard a thing about him lately and he's done nothing this pre-season. He's on the WW in some leagues.
Any homers or anyone have anything on this guy?
Seems to be an even RBBC in which Dillon has excelled lately and Maroney not so much. How does Belichek divvy up the work? Is Dillon the goalline back or has his success been more a function of being in the games at the right time?
I'm thinking that Maroney is a great buy low right now and...
CBS and KFFL both reported Moose heading to the locker room for an "undisclosed reason." CBS gave him the red cross symbol reserved for injured players this morning.
They mentioned it on the broadcast when he was leaving but I didn't hear any updates.
Anyone know wassap?
In 12 team leagues where most teams keep only 1 defense there are usually 18-20 sitting out there waiting to be plucked for a juicy matchup. After 2 weeks some teams like the 49ers don't look like the slam dunk that they did before the year started. Others, like Tenn and (gasp) Miami look like...
I got target data from another reputable site and while the numbers are mostly the same, several players have descrepencies of 1 target.
Got me wondering where these numbers come from. Do you guys review the play-by-play or does the NFL provide these stats?
