I was going with a similar approach but when you couldn't see any of these buildings on the drive downtown and it looked like driving through a fairly significant fog while smelling like I was at a campfire, I figure caution was best.

I'm officially fat and slow. First event in the Run (317) series that I've run the last couple of years was tonight. Last time I ran this course I was 2+ min per mile faster with basically the same HR, and I was already on the downslide then.

My anniversary was Saturday. It was not a good week but I did run about 10 miles last week and got in a workout today. Weight loss will come but also working on regaining fitness and strength. It was a good start even if I ingested far too many calories last week.
I had thought about dining Fred's thread as I'm trying to get back in the workout train. I'm currently back up to about 225 after doing from ~240 down to 192. Stayed under 200 for awhile before slipping up and slowly getting back to almost 230 to start the year. Have been better this year but...
