FBG Movie Club: DotM: Billy Wilder

I have posters for Ninotchka and The Apartment up in my apartment. To me, Ninotchka is Lubitch’s best film and Garbo’s best role.

    **Saturday Showdown #1 - Vikings 7-6 at Bengals 7-6** (-3, 40.5) 1:00

Well, I hoped to get out with a lead Higgins and Hock against JJ and Chase. And I got away up 8.6. Now I’ve gone from projected to lose by 20 to projected to win by 0.3. Sixth seed against stacked 3rd seed.

    **Saturday Showdown #1 - Vikings 7-6 at Bengals 7-6** (-3, 40.5) 1:00

I’m starting Higgins in the playoffs. My other options with C Watson out were Noah without Shroud, Justin Watson, Jeff Wilson or Chase Brown. This could be the third week in a row I have a WR put up a goose egg (Hollywood and Noah).

4th and 1 shotgun. Automatic firing.

Ekeler knows fantasy players need him and not demanding to be on the field and get the ball. I am disappoint.

    Playoff Roosters here!

I’m taking pride in having the worst looking playoff roster. 12-team PPR QB: Russ RB: Pollard, Monty WR: Hop, Higgins Flex: Javonte, Hollywood TE: Hock Bench: C Watson, Noah

Travdogg's positional rankings from week 14 onward (last update)

😝 We’ll see. I have confidence the player who loves fantasy football will step up for us in the fantasy playoffs as usual. It is Ekeler, CMC and Bijan.

    WR Christian Watson, GB

It was filled with joy last week when he helped me make up for two goose eggs (Hollywood, Juwan streaming for Hock) to clinch the postseason when a loss would have put me in bad shape. I would like to have him back for the playoffs, but now I’ve got Higgins and Noah Brown available and maybe...

Travdogg's positional rankings from week 14 onward (last update)

I like how I have 3 of your top 4 RBs going forward on one team. :towelwave:

    WR Nico Collins, HOU

I regretted not drafting him immediately after he was picked. But I traded for him minutes before the trade deadline. :shades:

    RB Austin Ekeler, WAS

I’m still holding out hope that this guy knows fantasy, knows when we’re in the fantasy playoffs, and is going to show out for us when we need him.

No reason to get fancy there! Watson pays the price. :wall:

    WR Tee Higgins, CIN

I don’t know that he will be an elite WR1, but I don’t think it will be a JuJu situation. Tee has the physicality and strong hands to beat good corners.

    ***TNF on Prime Video - Seahawks 6-5 at Cowboys 8-3*** (-9, 47) 8:15

Sigh, I have Pollard vs Cooks where I’m in 6th place and facing another 6-6 team behind me. 1st-and-goal from the 2 seems like a perfect setup for Pollard to get the TD and Cooks to have little chance. :wall:

    QB Russell Wilson, PIT

This week against Hou when I’m starting him, he will have a strong game. But seriously, he’s put up solid point totals in 3 of the past four, and the schedule the rest of the way looks good.

    QB Justin Fields, PIT

Fields is on bye next week. Then you’ll need to start him W14 when Kyler is on bye. :p

    **MNF - Bears at Vikings** (-3, 44) 8:15

Was hoping for more than 0.96 combined from Dobbs and Hock in the first half. This reminds me of early in the season when everyone was talking about how good Jordan Love looked, and when I watched him in prime time he was awful. Also, I keep hearing the Bears D sucks, but the two times I’ve...
