He has a broken finger initial estimates were 4 weeks, he's only missed two. He's yet to start throwing a football.I would say its unlikely that he plays this weekend.
Currently 8 of the the 10 teams in my league have higher PA than PS. Of the two teams that have the higher PS than PA one will, and one will not make the playoffs. Both of those teams are first and second in total points scored.
Hill fractured his arm in the week 6 game against the giants, so its been 4 weeks since the injury not 2. Prior to the Stafford injury last week Hill was saying he was one week away. It sounded like Hill was always coming back this week.
If its a grade 3 separation you have to assume he's done for the year if the grade 2 separation knocked him out for 7 weeks. He meets with Andrews on Monday so things will be clearer then.
I agree that its odd that he actually turned to land on the shoulder that was hurt. But what still stands out to me is how him landing on the shoulder on a tackle like that could cause a grade 3 separation. I think we'll all seen where the QB gets driven into the ground with a player landing on...
If he had a grade 2 sprain after the week 1 game(as was reported), he had 8 weeks to recover from that. Not sure if thats rushing back or not, but I thought that was standard recovery time for a grade 2(if not on the higher end).
Detroit Lions head coach Jim Schwartz said PK Jason Hanson (knee) will miss some time and that the team will work out some free agent kickers, reports Dave Birkett, of the Detroit Free Press. Analysis: Hanson was roughed up by the Jets on a field goal attempt and had to leave the game...
I'd guess that its better than the AC separation. I expect they would have IR'd him if it was. If its just a bruise I think Eli played with that during their superbowl year.

For those who haven't seen a clip of the injury to Stafford. Looking at it I didnt feel he got driven into the ground the same way he did with the hit by Peppers in the week one. Certainly not one of the harder tackles you see, which...
There are stories like this every year. Same siutation as yours everyone loves H2H, but understands that the records wont reflect whos the best team.Out of 10 teams.Team 1= 1510 points(1st), All play winning %0.625 (2nd). Average points against 158.9/week (10th) Record= 7-1Team 2= 1509 points...
In the one I league I'm in we've played for 7 years. One team has a regular season(weeks 1-14) winning % of .700 for those 7 seasons. No other team has a winning % greater than .540%. They have only won the championship once(the first year). Since then made the playoffs 5 of 6 years, 0-5 in...
A few years ago we looked at the impact of H2H vs. all play. The take home was clear that H2H schedule played could swing your winning % by about 2 games either way. However the league voted to keep with H2H since they liked the idea of rivalries between owners. We stayed with H2H due to a fun...
This is correct, and has happened a few times already this season. When you are on the game mix channel every so often a message will scroll across the bottom saying "the Detriot Lions can not be shown on game mix due to NFL blackout restrictions." There's been one game just about each week that...
The defense performance was awful, but disapointing to see LT miss so many blitz pickups during the game. For a vetern RB to miss those pickups is inexcusable.
Understanding the importance of the NT spot in the 3-4 to not have developed any backup at that spot, and betting it all on the health...
