Can I assume that most of us want to see an NFL where both the Tate play and the Freeman play (linked above) are ruled as touchdowns? So the problem is not that this was ruled a catch...the problem is all of the similar plays that are not.
Wow...17 and a half minutes have gone by and Kaepernick has not done anything egregiously stupid and now he throws a perfect pass deep downfield.

Was the play actually dead yet when that hit happened though? It looked like the play was still live. The Arizona player is racing towards the Steelers guy with the ball and gets leveled by a block. It looked weird because the intercepting player was injured and wasn't actually going to try...
Another example of the announcers not knowing the rules. That was a smart play by Johnson to try to advance the ball away from the 2 yard line without risk. And another example of what was technically a penalty (illegal touching) that doesn't warrant an actual flag being thrown.
The game clock fiasco is inexcusable. If I'm Mike Tomlin, I march out onto the middle of the field and refuse to leave until they put the proper time back on. How on earth does something like that happen? How does no one notice?
