Lacy owner as well. Concerned but trying to keep things in perspective.
The Bears game was an interesting one. On one hand, I hoped/expected Lacy to really dominate. On the other hand, it was a bit of an uneven game where (yet again) Lacy didn't manage to get a full workload.
If you watched...
Is Dwyer really worth anything though beyond a stop-gap measure? There always seems to be this tendency to jump on these Breaking News replacements when in reality, even if you get Dwyer, he's no better than an emergency start, right?
Looking at a number of Mock Drafts and tier projections, it's fairly clear the Top 5 RBs are Charles, McCoy, Peterson, Forte, and Lacy. After that, it becomes a bit murky.
However, If you're drafting in the middle of the 1st round, based on VBD, you are looking at either a Jimmy Graham or one...
Will go a bit contrarian here, and I'm frankly surprised no one has mentioned him.
I have a feeling that Stevan Ridley reverts to his mean. He's been coming on the last two weeks (despite getting the Jets last week), Gronkowski is back to open up the offense, and the colder New England weather...
Can Harry Douglas become a legit WR2-WR3, assuming Julio Jones is out for a lengthy period of time?
As bad as the Falcons may be playing right now, they still have Matt Ryan, and they still have that offense. Seems like a WR2 in that offense is going to get numbers.
Running sprints at practice today and looking good, per the Charlotte Observer.
Question is: does anyone care? Is there any chance he amounts to anything of value in the 2nd Half of the season?
How about Jonathan Stewart?
He's not available to come off the PUP until Week 7. But he was running sprints at practice today. Said to be looking good by the local Charlotte media.
Then again, even IF he's healthy, how much value does a RB in a Panthers RBBC really have?
I didn't get a chance to see the Steelers-Bears game last night. For those that did, how did Heath Miller look in his first game back.
I see he went 3-35 which is predictably pedestrian. But did he look like he was physically back? Was Big Ben looking his way as a reliable target?
How do you not include Marshawn Lynch in this group?
Elite defense, very strong OLine, scrambling QB to keep defenses honest, and Beast Mode.
What am I missing about Lynch possibly going #6?
Amazed to be agreeing with this (because the Jets are a mockery) but I'm leaning towards picking up the Jets D as well. Those match ups in Weeks 14-16 are just too good. Jacksonville has no RBs left and is done. Tennessee is a mediocre offense all year long. And the Chargers are a complete mess...
I am very bullish on Steve Ridley. Think the Pats go up 2TDs and hand him the ball to run out the clock as the Titans O struggles to maintain drives.Strongly cnsidering startng Fnley over Steven Jackson.
