The American Civil War Timeline- 150th Anniversary

There was also Liberia, The idea was not new, and had already been done on a smaller scale. From Wiki on LiberiaThe history of Liberia is unique among African nations because of its relationship with the United States. It is one of the few countries in Africa, and the only country in West...

    Player Spotlight: Chris "Beanie" Wells

That is frustrating, a great 3rd down catch and run, and a nice 4th and 1 TD. Then another fumble, just when you start thinking he might be a great start against the Lions & Rams.

    The 2009 K Thread

I dropped Tynes on his bye(week10) for Bironas and like that choice so far. A lot depends on whats available on your wire. If there are enough candidates to play matchups each week on your wire, you could do that too. I think Matt Bryant is an intriguing choice, Dome kicker, decent offense...

    Justin Forsett, finally....

Excellent point. I am afraid (and hope it's not true) that we have seen Forsett's best game Fantasy football wise. Mora never had a problem using a two back rotation in Atlanta (Dunn & Duckett) if they both were healthy. Forsett may have done well enough to get him more touches per game...

    Toby Gerhart

Well there was Charles White USC in 1979, but i don't think thats what you meant. The last was John Cappelletti 1973. Prior to Ernie Davis 1961, the First African American to win the Heisman, I assume they were all white.

League Member Claims he accepted a Trade by Mistake

The commissioner might be delusional. Sadly, I magine the guy will only increase his rediculous trade offers hoping for someone else to accidently accept.

    Greatest Handcuffs of All Time

That's one of the problems, to be a handcuff you really need to have drafted him as such. Most don't draft QB, WR, or TE handcuffs. Maybe a QB every once in ahwile if you have deep rosters. WR are usually just drafted, and not specifically as a handcuff. Though had someone drafted Mushin...

Beanie Wells, is he going to get a chance this year?

In the two "non running" plays that Wells was on the field, I felt he looked lost. My impression was he didn't know what to do, failed to chip anyone, failed to even look for someone to block, and left the backfield way to early on his dumpoff route. It was only 2 plays, but I felt that he was...

Kelly Washington Baltimores fast rising WR....

In the fist two games he is fifth in targets per game on the team and has half the targets of Mason and Clayton. The difference is he has caught every target so far. I don't see that as sustainable, so if his good play so far does not earn him more targets he won't hold much value. He is a wait...
