May be relocating to Astana, Kazakhstan - paging Dr. Detroit

I spent several weeks in Almaty in the summer of 2003. I don't know what it's like today but I never felt uncomfortable or had any real concerns. Best tomatoes I've ever had

*** Official Destiny Thread *** Xbox One & PS4 (if we have to)

I won't disagree with that. Most of the gunfights I lose are vs. the SR. If they get first shot off I'm pretty much done.

*** Official Destiny Thread *** Xbox One & PS4 (if we have to)

The only differences in regular PVP are what madshot stated - the individual weapon "perks" and what have you.

Unless you're going into Iron Banner, the weapons are balanced in PVP.

If it was on Detroit, it's an exploit where you can get off/out of the map.

Sorry, didn't see your invite until later. Not used to checking that stuff on PS4 yet. Next time.

    COD: Advanced Warfare

Not sure I want to go through all of that for the 2 weeks that everyone will likely play it consistently. :coffee:

This is why I have a PS4. Thanks, Delta Skymiles!

    COD: Advanced Warfare

Didn't see a confirmation anywhere but it seemed like it was pretty common knowledge among the pros that had played the beta version a few months back.

    COD: Advanced Warfare

BTW, Clawyer, not sure if you saw this or not but the low TTK you were mentioning in the vids yesterday is likely because they were still playing the beta version of AW from awhile back. The retail version will have a health buff on day 1.

    COD: Advanced Warfare

Yeah, fair point. Although with how the graphics are done these days the minimal input lag you'd avoid with CRT would probably cost you in being able to see people across the map as well. Better off with a fancy 23-27 inch BenQ 1ms monitor. Not that I would know first hand. I still use a 50...

    COD: Advanced Warfare

An uber serious player wouldn't use an 80 inch screen. More like 23-27.

When to be careful with TV around kids

I like to make a game of it. Every time one of my kids walks in the room I quickly and clumsily fumble with the remote, turn the TV off, and then pretend to read the newspaper - usually with the paper upside down. Makes them very curious.

    COD: Advanced Warfare

FWIW, the actual TTK in AW doesn't look like it's going to be that much longer than Ghosts. It looks like it's only marginally longer (like BLOPS 2) but the fact that people will be harder to hit because of the new movement options, the engagements will effectively last longer
