Just saw this the other night for the first time. WOW. It reminds me of the screenplays I used to write as a stoned 18 yr old.
Don't know if that's good or bad, but I will have to watch it again.
As much as I would like to agree on this one, I have talked to the principal at my 10yr old's school about an actual bully and they have said they would do so something about it and yet my kid is still telling me about it continuing.
Thanks to everyone for their responses. I do have homeowners, and I as a parent wouldn't sue either. How would they prove something like that? eta.( I see you are covering that, thanks again)
Also I'm wondering what to do for the family and little guy in particular? Or if I should do anything...
On Friday my 10 year old son and a friend were at our neighborhood park playing baseball when my son hit a ball and it broke the friends nose.
My son calls me, we get his friend home to his house and the dad doesn't seem to concerned about the nose. I know it's broken but figure he'll be fine...
My son just asked me why the Cards didn't get to keep the ball after they recovered it after the block.
I assume it has to do with the fact the ball didn't cross the line of scrimmage, but it that correct?
That was a rough one for me too. I was 17? and he was the funniest guy working.
Walker dying really bothered me as well, but I wasn't really a big fan of his. He seemed like a nice guy and he didn't die from drugs or anything like that, just a dumb accident.
Looks pretty real to me. Vidhttp://www.cagepotato.com/video-jon-jones-and-daniel-cormiers-wild-brawl-at-the-ufc-178-media-day/eo . SacBob is right, its way too easy to get hurt in something like that.
Bucky86 "No, I do back down. I'm not some mouth breather whose first course of action is to knockout my girlfriend."
Good
There are things that I can say that will set my wife off, right or wrong on her part I don't say those things so that I don't have to deal with the repercussions.
Again...
So you just cannot look at it from a place of self preservation? I'm not saying that she had it coming, I'm saying she shouldn't have hit him in the first place.
She has clearly decided to be with a man that can and will hit her, so she probably shouldn't get physical with him.
No. The way I read it didn't let Ray Rice off the hook. It was more of speaking to the problem of people/women not backing down when it is starting to go to far.
While I can see what you are trying for with that link, it's not quite the same thing. By all accounts, Rice didn't just attack his fiance out of nowhere, she hit him. Ray is responsible for his actions but so is she.
Whenever my kids get into a fight I have to tell the older one to stop...
Wow, that is brutal. Reminds me of a guy I worked with years ago. He was offered scholarships to a few schools and was drafted by the Marlins or Rays. He kept waiting to make his decision, hurts his knee, all the deals dry up and he ended up working at pizza hut to pay for college. If he...
