Draft Wed., 9/6 @ 9 PM ET.
Draft order based on final standings from the previous season. 5th through 10th (5th place gets 1st pick, 6th place gets 2nd pick, 7th place gets 3rd pick, etc.) are awarded 1st through 6th place to ensure all teams will work their hardest to achieve the best record they can and for the integrity of the league. Tanking is not rewarded this way. 1st place from last season gets 10th place, 2nd place gets 9th, 3rd place gets 8th and 4th place gets 7th.
Each team can keep either zero, one, or two keepers. Should each team keep two players, then the draft will start in the 3rd round. If a team keeps one keeper, then that team will get a supplemental pick BEFORE the draft starts to bring that team up to two players before the draft starts in the third round. If a team keeps zero keepers, then that team will get two supplemental picks BEFORE that draft starts to bring them up to two players before the draft starts in the third round.
Players and draft picks can be traded before the draft, as long as the same number of players and draft picks are traded, and the teams involved in the trade have paid. For example, let's say that Joe Montana is traded for a draft pick. You would need to trade Joe Montana and a draft pick (let's say 15th rounder) for a player and a pick from the other team. The number of players and draft picks must be even, so that when the draft starts, all teams have the same number of draft picks.
