In my opinion, fantasy football is what you make it and the ultimate goal should be to make it as enjoyable experience as possible. Most of the time that means being good as possible but on rare occasion I think it's okay to sacrifice a little now to get your favorite player.

While it's a nice sentiment, are you going to root for Luck even harder now that he's on your fantasy team than you would have as a Colts fan? You traded away a valuable asset to gain a piece that does you no good. Agree that you need to seperate the two sides of football.

I like that trade given your circumstances. Not necessarily selling high on your vets, but if you wait much longer, it'll be really hard to get anything for those guys as they are going to fall off the value cliff going into next season (in my opinion). I think its at least fair value and this is one of those trades that has a good chance of being a "win" for both teams (assuming he can make some money in the playoffs this season). The Redskins RB situation has proven frustrating in the past, but it is pretty easy at this point to handcuff Morris with guys like Royster, Grant, Helu, etc. as those guys are dirt cheap if you need to trade for them.

I know I have seen more than my share of wtf deals in my leagues so you combine the fact we are looking at all the leagues around the world who are on this site and you get them daily now.Hartline is on waivers in several of my leauges I actually took him in the 6th round of a rookie/FA draft this year but waived him...maybe he is the next Cruz...Mathews a 1st round pick in startup drafts this summer PLUS DRAFT PICKS for a waiver wire guy in Morris...hey maybe it works out......

Im not as high on Foster as others, but I'd prefer the Foster side on this one. Baldwin and F. Davis are not chop liver. The two (plus the value of Tate) and plus the upgrade from Chris Johnson to Foster (which in market value alone is huge) easily offsets Colston and VJax imo.
