2015 Rishard Matthews, WR - MIAMI (1 Viewer)

Pretty solid start to the year.

Posted 4-34-1td on 6 targets Week 1.

Posted 6-115 on 7 targets Week 2.

Don't know much about this guy but I've got him stashed. He showed great hands today. Knows how to get open.

I guess we need to keep an eye on Devonta Parker.

Fools gold?

Devonta is listed behind Greg Jennings. Rishard is/was behind Stills.

He was trying to get a new team when Miami got all those Receivers (Stills, Parker, Jennings), but he wasn't allowed to leave.

Now he's kind of showing that his worth to keep. Really don't know how good he is, but the start is good.

If he can keep it up, he might be the surprise player of the year?

If anyone knows more about him, would be nice to get some homer information?

Not a homer, but Matthews definitely seemed to catch the eye of the coaching staff in pre-season, and that seems to be carrying over into the early part of the season.

I don't think Stills or Jennings are major threats, but the primary concern definitely appears to be the eventual usage of Parker as the shiny new toy.

I would love for someone that has seen him play this year to add some insight. The stat line and offense makes him look like a potential top 25-30 WR going forward.

He has been second only to Landry in offensive snaps. However Parker is starting to play more now (up to 25% of the snaps in week 2 after only 2% in week 1).

anyone who has seen the games, can they comment?

nervous of blowing a waiver wire on fools gold.

rotoworld blurb from week 2 says he caught a deflected pass and took it 48 yards. definitely don't want to chase lucky stats but obviously don't want to miss out on the next stud WR. Miami running game stinks and the D has been subpar so the targets could keep rolling in.....

Parker is going to starting eating some of those targets. Not buying it.

Matthews has certainly been very good over the first three weeks. However his snaps declined in the most recent game and that could be a trend that continues.

The Dolphins are sure playing a lot of WRs.

Parker actually had 54% of the offensive snaps (2 more than Matthews) and 7 targets. His role in the offense keeps expanding.

My hope is that now that Miami has gotten rid off idiot, the new coach understand that Mathews is their most productive weapon at the moment.

The snaps will increase and production will be steady the rest of the year,
