Anyone think Moss WON'T end up in St Louis? (1 Viewer)

only thing I can think of is StL is a young team and they won't want to inject the cancer into an up and coming team. I think it is StL or SEA.

Keep in mind Moss still hasn't been waived. I bet he doesn't go to St. Louis because he stays in Minny.

I think if a team like STL claims him he might not show up.
no chance of that. He'd be personally (stats) much better off with Bradford than Favre and the Rams have a fair chance of making the playoffs. Like him or not, Moss isn't a fool.
Isn't this the guy who hit a woman with a car and stated publicly that bs only plays when he wants to? Oh and is now going on his 3rd team in one year....and he's NOT a fool??

i think moss won't end up in st. louis because there are a dozen teams with a higher waiver priority. i say he's going to san francisco.

He is going to a team who still has playoff chances .

I think St-Louis has a great chance to win their division , why not add Moss .

And i also agree that Bradford would be a much better QB to get him the ball , then Favre or Hasselbeck ...

I say St-Louis if not he goes back to NE...

You think the trade or waiver show he's a fool? I wouldn't shave or play with Favre either.

If StL does not claim him, Seattle will.....division opponent which will be more reason for StL to grab him. On a semi-related note, could Amendola be as good as Welker with Moss. they are almost identical players.

I think one thing to consider is that if a team would claim Moss on waivers they would be paying a pretty big salary for the rest of the season for a guy who would then become a free agent. My speculation is that if he is waived the bottom of the waiver teams won't want to shell out his contract money for just half a season.

Ever exaggerate? First, he didn't "hit" her. She stood in front of his car; he was going about as slow as you can drive a car. Second, the "woman" was a meter maid trying to act tough. Say what you like but there are two sides to this story and he never faced any criminal charges, which tells you that there is more to it than what you suggest.

Moss goes to a new team and after a couple of weeks is shuflfing around the field not putting out a full efflrt, publicly mocks the coach and coaching staff, and then flagrantly violates a team rule - forcing the team to either get rid of him or forgive the violation and bad mouthing at the same time (thus agreeing that Moss can do whatever he wants whenever he wants and destroying what little respect and hold the coach still has on the rest of the team).

All-time talent, but do you want to be his next coach? I'll guess that no team before NE (if even NE - I'm not sure they want him back or why trade him away) will take teh waiver chance without knowing what attitude comes with the 3 mil tab. If teams get to talk with him as a free agent (or maybe as a trade candidate from the Viks) perhaps he can convince someone he will be a good citizen. Without that, I think the risk is too high.

I would think a team that at least thinks it is contending would rather claim Moss via waivers and pay him for the rest of the season and see how it works out. If Moss does not get claimed teams will probably have to negotiate a long term deal to get him to sign. I suspect if he gets waived he will be claimed by a contending for playoff team taking a look for the remainder of the season.

I've got nothing to back this up, but I'd be a little bit surprised if he gets past Detroit at #6.

They've won two straight in pretty impressive fashion, they have their young QB back, and they're looking like they're in decent shape for a good 2nd half of the season. Even though they're most likely out of it - why not load up with another weapon for Stafford on the off chance that they can string together a few more wins in a division where the Pack is injured and Chicago and Minny are uninspiring. I think they'd be silly not to pick up Moss.

can a team claim him and then trade him? maybe Minnesota is trying to trade him right now?

also, from what i understood, the team that claims him will only be on the hook for the prorated portion of his contract for the rest of the season, somewhere around 1.6 million. doesn't sound like much of an investment to me for a team that's trying to make a push for the playoffs, especially in an uncapped year.

TRADE DEADLINE HAS PASSED

Two players have hit waivers already and still no mention of Moss hitting waivers. For that matter, I haven't heard a peep from anyone even close to the Vikes today.

RIGHT, SORRY

who caters for the Rams? Key decision point with Moss on the roster...
hah, yeah I thought that was funny/odd:
Minnesota Vikings WR Randy Moss, who is expected to be waived Tuesday, Nov. 2, may have alienated some teammates when he roundly criticized a post-practice meal in front of the local restaurant owners who catered it, reports Michael Silver, of Yahoo! Sports. Every Friday, the Vikings invite a local establishment to cater the team's post-practice meal. Last week, it was C Matt Birk's turn to pick the eatery, and he chose a St. Paul restaurant that served chicken, pasta, ribs and other dishes. While his teammates lined up to dig in, Moss lashed out. 'What the (expletive)? Who ordered this crap? I wouldn't feed this to my dog,' a player who witnessed the incident said. The player who witnessed Moss' food tirade called it 'an uncomfortable moment,' adding that he felt Moss deserved to be cut after the incident.
Say he does go to the Rams, what impact does he have on Bradford and more importantly SJax? Gotta be good, I'm assuming. Just wondering where people see things shaking out if Moss does end up there. Could Jackson score more than 4 TD's this year?

Fox Sports' Alex Marvez reports the Vikings have officially waived Randy Moss.It will be interesting to see if he gets claimed in light of reports about his locker-room outburst last Friday. Our guess is that at least one team will take the leap, figuring it was just "Randy being Randy." Several beat writers noted that the incident wasn't even unusual for Moss. "Randy being an #####" is a big file, explains Tom Pelissero of 1500 ESPN Twin Cities.

I know it will never happen, but the teams should agree to let him rot. I'm sick of these diva receivers and someone has to stop this madness.

With the focus Devaney and Spagnuolo have put on their "Four Pillars" program, I wouldn't be surprised if they pass on him and decide that a young team whose best days are ahead has no need for someone with Moss's baggage or attitude problems.

from a fantasy perspective, where is the BEST place he could land? I think San Diego, Washington, and St Louis would all provide pretty decent stats for him.

Washington is almost as much of a mess as Minn. As an owner I hope to god he doesn't end up there.

He wont play in Minnesota, his home where he was so happy to go back. What on earth makes you think he'll play for St. louis?

No chance. He may get picked up, but it will be a disaster.

I would argue that San Diego would be the best case scenario for Moss with Floyd back in Week 12 they would be very formidable and Rivers can deliver him the ball.

It will be very interesting to see who puts in a waiver claim for this turd.

1. He's not the receiver he was a couple of years ago.

2. He quit on the Patriots and Vikings already this year.

3. Did he ever play hard for the Raiders?

4. He's melted down in pressers bashing both the Vikings and Patriots this year.

5. What are you bringing to your locker room with a guy that acts like a turd to the teams caterer?

Best spot to land is NE. Not really close. He's a borderline WR3/4 in any of those spots for this year. (Not any different than MN)
NE is the best because they have more to cover. While, SD STL and WASH he opens up other receivers.
