Loved the throwbacks Houston wore last night.

the Astros hae overall had good uniforms. Had one gneric set during the Killer b era I thought were to plain, but even the tacky rainbows are now fun to me.

The rainbows are the best uniforms ever. Would love for them to go back to them full time.

UPDATE, 9:33 PM: Jon Paul Morosi of FOX Sports says that Pirates outfield prospect Robbie Grossman is headed to the Astros in the deal. The 22-year-old former sixth-round pick is batting .262/.374/.403 with seven home runs and 35 RBI in 94 games this season at the Double-A level. More to come.

UPDATE, 9:42 PM: According to Heyman, the Astros are also getting Rudy Owens, a 24-year-old left-hander with a 3.14 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 85/25 K/BB ratio in 19 starts this season at Triple-A, and Colton Cain, a 21-year-old southpaw with a 4.20 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 51/25 K/BB ratio in 16 starts this season at High-A.

Surprising return for a guy like Johnson who's basically been replacement level over his career. Borchering and Krauss have been disappointing as pros but they're both cheap lottery tickets for Houston.ETA: Borchering was picked nine spots ahead of Mike Trout in the 2009 amateur draft

That list pretty much starts and ends with Altuve and maybe Jason Castro if you're feeling charitable.Harrell, Lowrie and Justin Maxwell will be over 30 by the time Houston is ready to make a run at .500.

I think what scares me is that with all the trades the Astros made they really just volumns of decent maybe types as prospects. while better than what was in the system, lots of developing and hoping in what looks to be a strong AL west it is looking like 2015 at the earliest before Astros might get into Seattleish range.
