What is the general opinion on his potential? Cowboy's safety position isn't typically a good fantasy source...

Typically it isn't, but with Bruce Carter and Sean Lee out for the season there are tackles to be picked up and McRary has a chance to grab them. Don't think he's going to be a huge producer, but if you need a guy to spot start for a game or two he could be a good bet right now.
