Denver at Indianapolis (1 Viewer)

would love to see Indy come out with an uptempo today with new OC. Unfortunately looks like more Gore runs, and Luck incompletions on 3rd and Long.

My predictions for Luck today:

1st half : 3/9 50 yards, 0/1

Full game: 16/33, 175, 1/2

Too early to call but random stuff like what happened to Adams is similar to my torn achillies. Just jumped up to head a ball in soccer, no one near me, came down and POP.

Feel like I should be surprised by the way this game is going....but for some reason I'm not.

That cell phone commercial with the annoying woman saying things like "get over your head with a clap-clap" is like nails on a chalkboard. So bad. Phil Simms seems like Pat Summerall in comparison.

another undefeated team going down...broncos sucking
For what it's worth it has been like this all year (and I get to make the same joke in each thread). First half Denver Broncos have cable, wait till second half Broncos come out, they have DirecTV.

NFL teams need to pony up $200K or so per year -- chump change to them -- to hire somebody who pays attention to clock management, down and distance situations, 4th down decisions, etc., and who can chime in over the headset to remind folks about the overall state of the game. You have to figure the decision to punt the ball in-bounds was just a complete lack of game-awareness on the part of the Colts ST coach. More generally, though, a bright person who understands the structure of this game could easily earn that salary by stopping obviously stupid in-game decisions.

Either that or hire competent head coaches.

:lmao: @ Peyton trying to throw downfield
You should actually watch the game, the throws have mostly been on the money. Defenders are playing very well and in some cases getting away with some questionable grabs.
When defenders have time to make a sammich and eat it before they have to worry about the ball getting to the receiver they are covering, average to poor DB's and LB's become above average. The Denver offense is a dumpster fire. And the defense isn't the second coming of the 2000 Ravens either.

That's not the problem. It has nothing to do with competency. It's about specialization and attention. HC can't be running all the odds on game situation along with all the other duties he has as well as a dedicated coach or assistant could.

So a competent head coach wouldn't have told his ST coordinator to kick the ball out of bounds?
