Fantasy Football Owner Chastizes Braylon for not playing (1 Viewer)

http://www.imagecpr.com/?p=16807

A hospital security guard — who is also a fantasy football owner — chastised Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Braylon Edwards for not playing in last Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions because of a swollen knee.

Edwards was at the hospital Monday to get an MRI. But apparently the security guard was more concerned about Edwards screwing up his fantasy team.

Check out Edwards’ tweets:

Fantasy football participants are “owners” and “managers” of teams that play in competitive leagues. They gain “fantasy points” based on the statistics of real NFL players like Edwards.

Notice that the operative word is “fantasy” football.

Obviously the hospital security guard has a problem separating fantasy from reality.

This is very worrying indeed. Especially when involving someone who is meant to protect the weak and the sick. We really expect better judgement from them than this.

What was he thinking when he did this? Didnt he talk to anyone else about it to see if it calmed him down and stopped this rash decision?

Anyway enough about his decision to start Braylon Edwards. What does everyone think about him saying it to Bryalon's face?

First Deangelo now Braylon. See a pattern in the type of players these lame owners are complaining/relying on....get a new hobby, u suk!

The security guard was probably just star-struck and tried to be funny by "chastising" Braylon. Nobody in their right mind would be starting Edwards. He has 7 friggin' receptions all year.
