Fantasy Pro Bowl (1 Viewer)

I got the idea this year for a Fantasy Pro Bowl. Each division in our league would send its top-scoring players at each position, and a four-week schedule would be set up for weeks 14-17 for the four divisional teams (to be run in parallel with the actual playoffs). We'd use our normal league scoring rules, in best-ball format. No adds or drops, but players on IR when the Pro Bowl rosters are selected would be replaced by an alternate. The winning division (best total points weeks 14-17) would split our transaction fee pool (which is currently split 66/33 by the two Super Bowl teams).

Seems like it would be a way to keep everyone interested through the end of the season. Does anyone else do something like this?

We do it. No money or prizes involved.

The winner of one conference put together a lineup of players from that conference. The same for the other conference winner too.

We do it week 17 based on scoring. Starters play 1st half, reserves play 2nd. No prizes, but we fall back to the old Miller Lite Handbook rules that we started our league with 22 years ago. Neat reminder on how far we've come. If never heard or played by these rules, no yardage, but players get double points for TD's that are scored out of their normal role. For example, a RB cathing a TD gets 12 points not 6. Also gives yardage bonus on TD's. A 50 yard WR reverse for TD scores 24! Seems really weird now.

We have a beer bowl. The two divisions get matched upbased on order of finish. Losing division bring beer to the draft next year.
