The GFAC league is entering year 2 and has several vacant teams. We are a highly active league, and have openings due to some owners not meeting our activity and competitive levels, as well as some standard owners stepping down.

Dues are $35 a season, and we ask a 2 year commitment ($70) to start.
Teams are inherited "As Is" since there is no ROD for our auction league, but we do have some incentives to help you customize the team and get started.
Replacement Owners Draft
Given the high rate of player turnover in a Contract league as compared
to a classic dynasty league, GFAC does not conduct a replacement owner
draft in the event two (or more) owners are replaced at the same time.
All teams are delivered intact to the new owner.
However, in a way to add some personalization to inherited
franchises, as well as increase overall league activity, and shake
things up, there will be a limited, “Expansion Draft” held, prior to the
start of Free Agency for all Replacement Owners.
Expansion Draft:
In any offseason in which a Replacement owner is needed, and prior to opening RFA, the league will hold an Expansion Draft.
Every Replacement owner will inherit their team “as-is” with a few exceptions.
1. Every established franchise must nominate 6 players from their active roster or PS for entrance into the expansion draft.
a. The Expansion draft will last 6 rounds giving every new owner the
chance to add 6 players of their choosing to their roster. Owners must
consider contracts, as they will remain intact.
b. Upon selection of any player, the team losing a player is given the
opportunity to protect one of their remaining players, meaning no team
will lose more than 3 players unless willingly done so. Teams will be
asked to submit an ordered list of saved players to the commissioner
prior to the draft which will be held in confidence to ensure the draft
finishes quickly. If none or less than 3 players are wanted to be
protected, directions can be given to the commissioner on who or when to
protect.
2. Each new owner will receive 2 Amnesty contracts which can be used to
release 1 player each without incurring penalties from poor contracts
assigned by previous management. These must be designated within 48
hours of joining, and prior to any other transactions.
We have IDP, PPR, claimable PS players, Devy Players (although we did not include them in the startup, so all rookies are available this year) A highly active group of competitive owners, and if you are interested, please email me at calebplak@gmail.com.
