Jose Reyes (1 Viewer)

I just traded him this weekend -

Reyes, Broxton and Buck for Hardy, F. Cordero and Estrada...

How bad is the injury??

"Jose Reyes felt a little tightness, nothing to be too alarmed about"

"Whenever you see something like that from Jose Reyes, you sit him down, let him play another game"

- Mets post game show announcer

They mentioned it at the start, then moved on. Nothing else of note said.

Talked a bit about Easley and how he could play SS if Reyes can't.

Probably a bit early to determine what's going on; Randolph up in a bit.

:fingerscrossed:

I noticed that Gotay ran for him...even though I traded him, I honestly hope he is ok - He is worth the price of admission.

Both my "legit" sources online say it is nothing to be concerned about "yet". Mets have not let on that it is anything more than tightness.

More on Reyes from Metsblog.com

Mets SS Jose Reyes left last night’s game during the eighth inning with what appeared to be a tight hamstring.

Following the game, Reyes told reporters he feels fine, adding that his hamstring simply cramped up. Willie Randolph gave a similar response, as well.

Reyes, on his status, after the game…

“I have to be careful because I had so many injuries to my hamstring…But, I’m here to play baseball. If I feel good (Thursday), I’m gonna play.”
